  • I am looking perhaps in ths wrong place for a song released back in the 80's called "too weak to say good bye". I thought it was by Jesse Winchester and the name of the song may not be too weak to say good bye but it is in the chorus, Any one remember such a song?

  • @anisawodskow29 Thanks! I'm glad that putting this up seems to be inspiring some folks to buy Jesse's wonderful music. His last album "Love Filling Station" is great too!

  • Excellent accompanying visuals to another great tune from the one and only Jesse Wichester talking Memphis, so thank you, thank you very much for the upload! I, for one can not get enough of the Man Jesse W. and the tasty licks that the incomparable, if not, one and only Steve Guitar Man Cropper lays down! Thanks also to You Tube for leaving the light on the space!

  • SWEEEEET TUNEAGE FROM A MUSIC MAN WHO SHOULD BE A LEGEND! The accompanying visuals are as easy on the eyes as Jesse is on the ears! This is just DAMOFINO FINE! snicky58 thanks, really, thank you very much! P.S. Steve Cropper is an ACE!

  • @9erfandex Thanks, you made my day! Love to hear from other fans of Jesse and Steve Cropper!

  • Re: Steve Cropper...he was with Booker T & the MGs when they backed Otis Redding at the Monterey Pop Festival. What a performance that was!

  • I have been a big fan of Jesse since I first heard "Brand New Tennessee Waltz" in the early 70's. I'm also a big fan of Steve Cropper..."close your eyes and it's a young Steve Cropper.." (From 'Club Manhatten".

  • REALLY like this!! Thanks snicky58...,

  • kcirmusic1, thank you so much! I guess you're a Jesse fan too?

  • You made me a fan..., I spent the next two days on Rhapsody listening and downloading a bunch of Jesse songs. Thanks very much and take care...,

  • Jesse... bought four of his albums in the 70s, enjoyed 'em and then over the years, slowly forgot about them. I am back big time after buying Love Filling Station in January 09... Got Gentleman of Leisure last week. Long live Jesse!!!

  • Nice job on the clever video. Thanks especially for the plug for Jesse in your info. I agree with your assessment of his voice, his songwriting, his performance: really, nobody can touch him. His work is like the master poet, Robert Frost—he offers an amazing profundity in what, at first look, appears to be utter simplicity. And he's fun, too. Everyone should check out his great new album, Love Filling Station (Check out...heck, everybody should buy it...and a couple copies for gifts as well!)

  • Thanks for the kind words snicky58. Jesse's an old friend of mine...bob

  • The Ghost of Elvis bids you Peace...

  • Great song my friend 5*s from me :-)

  • Hi Snicky! Just what I needed this morning! Thanks again for posting this!

  • This album took some getting used to at first, but I loved it pretty quick!

  • Oh, wonderful! Thank you so much for posting this excellent song, and for pointing people in Jesse's direction! It's a great video too! Love your pictures! And yes, Steve Cropper is a big deal! ;)

Ditto to all the wonderful things you said about Jesse. He's just the best, as far as I'm concerned! And any friend of Jesse's is a friend of mine! ;)
