  • @joeratti dude...are you really that ignorant? One, this is not a marketing campaign. And they aren't advertising. Mac users are just pissed that people think there is no right click. People see the moss and are dumb enough to think that it is one surface, so it doesn't have a right click. Shows you how stupid most pcs are. Even if they were marketing it...why would that make it stink? You are one illogical person.

  • It isn't a myth, Mac hatred are just so d*MN stupid they don't care to look it up. They just keep on hat in'

  • all u have to do is cltr+click

  • thanks for the great information

  • Good show, chap. It annoys me how people still believe that garbage :p

  • the fact that mac has to market a mouse as having 2 buttons makes it suck.

  • Guess what, I have a pc mouse with 5 buttons :P

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy Mine has 12

  • @MrEcaz lol... I could just strap a cell phone keyboard to mine and say my mouse has 39 keys :P

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy -.- They wouldn't work so I wouldn't count them as buttons, I could strap 2 keyboards two mine and say I had lots of "button".

  • @MrEcaz hey, if you have 2 ends for the cord, one to the keyboard, and one to the mouse, and the mouse was one piece of hardware, then yes you could have a mouse with 39 buttons... kinda like how the nes advantage had 2 ends for it's cord, and yet was considered a piece of hardware, so too would a mouse keyboard be just one piece of hardware :P

Anyway, this is pointless bullshit, and honestly, I think having 12 buttons a silly, probably in the same way most would think 5 was :P

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy Actually I use all twelve buttons daily

  • @MrEcaz Actually, I said it seemed silly, in the same way people might see my 5 button mouse. I NEVER SAID YOU DIDN'T USE THE BUTTONS :P...

Respond to what people say, not to what you assume they meant to say

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy Actually I know what you said, but how can it be silly if your making use of it, it can be, but in this case it just seems stupid.

  • LOL it's working to right click with my iMac!? i have snow leopard and a 2009 iMac!

  • macs suck

  • thats one mighty fine mouse

  • What about laptops?

  • if you attached a mouse to the laptop as i did in this video you would have the same results. If you use the trackpad then you set it in the same place but it would show different options.

  • MacBooks have right click to. ctrl click or fingers on the trackpad and click. Sounds annoying but it's become natural now

  • tap with 2 fingers, on a pc laptop you can't.

  • @cyprusboy56 my pc has a trackpad too...

  • @cyprusboy56 Yes

  • @waster125 Tap with two fingers.

  • thank you for setting the record straight. After realizing that there is a second button feature, I do like the mouse a little more. But I still prefer a mouse with defined buttons instead of the entire shell of the mouse being the button. But who knows, I may get used to it.

  • I had my teacher tell the whole class that mac can't right click, but she also said mac where over priced to but loved to use them.

  • why did the mouse move at 1:53 when you weren't touching either mouse (at least the 2 in the PIP) ;-) a third bluetooth mouse not on screen?!?! I use a rocketfish white 2 button bluetooth, it looks nice enough to pass for a Mac.

  • yea sadly there was a delay syncing the two vids

  • Oh yeah, I see the timing now. I use a white rocket fish which also has right click, and for those out there who dont know the macbooks (& pro & air) you can tap the trackpad with two fingers at the same time and get right click without using ctrl.... sadly I sold my macbook to pay bills, but got a great deal on a mini. Gotta have my mac!

  • thanks for showing me how to right click dont listen to the dicks like idiothater1 u r 100% right so thx

  • Nobody clicks the mouse like that u dumbasss! Whatthehell was that one finger clicking demonstration?

  • @VoxVulgus

Wow. Everything you just said is %100 percent false.

  • I swear, you're one helluva' idiot.

Seriously, did you even bother to look at the video?

We use APPLE-C, you USE CTRL-C... OMFGH, it's like 543698347698 MROEERE STEPS?!1 As for everything else, dude, check this out:

cut-n-paste, jump to, select text, takes more steps.

See that? I just quoted you in... two clicks. (highlight & jump to)

    GTFO our internetz.

  • did you even watch the video?

    wow...

  • If that bothers you, just plug in an ordinary USB mouse to the Mac and that's it. Macs can run any mouse, just as a PC would, as long as they're USB.

  • What program do you use to capture footage on the mac?

  • ishowu

    shinywhitebox[dot]com/home/home[dot]html

  • Sorry to be stupid but on the mighty mouse can you also use the scroll ball to scroll through web pages and click on the ball to let the automatic scrollindg arrows com up?

  • yes the scroll ball scrolls, but i have not tested the click method common windows mice that follows the mouse up and down. i will get back to you with an answer.

  • ok i tested it with my dell and razor mouse so far and so long as no assignment has been given it should work. the only mighty mice in the house are my wife's and media center, i will test them later.

  • ok thx

  • Thanks mrbit10. I was wondering about this, and you sure solved my problem. Thanks alot.

  • So if you only have the Dell mouse you can't configure what the middle button does?

  • thanks for the comment, the purpose of the vid was to prove the right click with or without a mighty mouse. I will make a vid testing your question.

  • a video was not worth it, i did the tests and no the middle button will not function if a mighty mouse setting was not set.

  • So now the argument would become "you can't middle click unless you have an Apple mouse"?

Meh, there are probably some 3rd party app to configure it.

  • you can middle click with a generic mouse. You just need to use an application (like Blender) that uses the middle mouse button. try it out.

Also, you can map he middle mouse button to Exposé in your system preferences.

    Macs can middle-click too.

  • thanks for the comment and pointer

  • Maybe trying that would be worth while?

  • i will try it

  • I never stated it was a one click :-p

  • i know, you did not, this vid is not really targeting you, when I watched your vid it hit me to show a dell mouse on a mac, not the click arguement. thanks for the comment.

  • thanks

  • cool video and it time to crush other myth pricing of a mac vs pc cost, and mac's can't play game myth. good video
