@mertoness if you use contact lens soft tongs, then it will be fine! nothing will happen to your contacts. using your fingers to take it out will just make it harder, but won't damage the lens.

but do not use metal tongs!

@lSomthingToDol well, either your fingers or your lenses are dirty (make sure to rinse them properly, repeatedly if needed, and also make sure there is NOTHING between the eye and the lens), or your eyes just don't except contacts, since it is a foreign object after all.

@pantherbaby98 you should wipe your finger dry. and try it again. It is because it is too wet. Also don't let the side of the contact touch to your finger, only the very bottom, otherwise it will stick too.

actually, those tongs are made specifically for contact lenses that I bought in an optics store, and I've been using them ever since and nothing has ever happened to my lenses, because they are very soft.

well, it could be that your body doesn't accept you contacts. after all, it is a foreign body in your eye! If that's the case, you shouldn't use contacts at all.

or, maybe your eyes just aren't used to them, so you can buy some eyedrops to take away the redness.

but really, i know it's hard at first, but you can practice not freaking out by just touching your eye with your finger and get used to it. right now i'm able to put them right on the coloured (?) part of my eye!
