  • Great version, thanks

  • Thank you - that is wonderful. Tasteful Leslie West licks, performed perfectly! What is your amp and or pedals to get this tone? Its great.

  • HA!!! THANK SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!!!!!YOUR FRIEND FROM GREECE!!

  • Sweet jam, Stephen ! Cool man !

I did this too... first attempt without practice.

I even had the chords on paper in front of me. LOL

    Stu

  • Great playing there!

  • I've seen you go from no guitar to this and it's been a fun journey to say the least. You weren't lucky, you just worked hard and this is the pay off for your dedication.

The tone is exact and West's tone must be pretty illusve because foks have been trying to copy it since day one. Although I've heard it close before, I've never heard it perfected...until now. Well done and BRAVO!

  • @6LQ6 - thanks mate, but 'no guitar' is not quite accurate - I merely stopped playing guitar for thirty years!

  • Masterfully played,man

    You're pretty soulful!

    Great job.

  • Great sound, bravo Steve!

  • Well played, Stephen. Sublime tone.

(Did you know that Leslie has recently undergone major surgery?)

  • Oh yea, this time you nailed it, Stephen!

I think you are about the only musician that's taken the time AND has the ability/skill to reproduce the subtle antics of Leslie West. That's the epitome of the Les Paul Jr sound we've all come to love about Leslie West's pioneer and revolutionary way of playing back in the old days.

  • Love it! Great work Stephen!
