  • hey guys, check out this sweet band influenced by many of your favourite bands such as The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Queen and more! Go to the channel Sludge9509 and check them out!

  • Thank you for cutting out the stupid screams of the audience. All those hen's cackling drives me nuts

  • This song makes me happy every time. I don't know why. The Beatles Rules!

  • Love this song!! It reached #88 in '64. (U.S., Billboard)

  • Am I the only one who thinks this sounds like "Why do fools fall in Love" by Frankie Lymon? These guys as a sample, music stealing as Elvis. :|

  • @ShinRyizen yea your the only one

  • @drewskies991 Ignorant or in denial, can't tell...regardless you would be wrong. Try again troll. Stick with your porn videos son.

  • @ShinRyizen or maybe your just the only one who thinks it sorry your wrong..alright time to go back to my porn videos now

  • @drewskies991 why you trolling. 5 minutes google you'd find I'm not the only one. Fucking kill yourself idiot. Your ignorance is unwanted and you'll be doing the world a favor. The porn has made your far more stupid than expected, but I guess you're used to being called a idiot, you do it so well

  • @ShinRyizen holy shit sorry i dont think it sounds like it get the fuck over it ya fucking baby

  • Try to follow the amazing bass line on the left channel... Brilliant. Best walking bass ever.

  • @panvigocsc Yeah, I actually think McCartney is probably the best rock bass player I've ever heard, and I'm 57. Virtually every tune they ever recorded has absolutely amazing bass licks running through it.

  • Try to follow the amazing bass line on the left channel... Brilliant

  • best beatle song hands down,,never gets old

  • skrason, It is quite amazing how great John Lennon was vocally. Listen to Twist & Shout , When I get Home, You're gonna lose that girl, Help, I'll get you, She Loves you. I mean just gut throttling powerhouse Raunchy rock. I Love every bit of the Beatles but how do you beat John on Lead vocals with PAUL ON HIGH HARMONY AND GEORGE HANDLING THE LOW PART . Truly a ONCE in A Lifetime Combination. It was great to be alive to witness it while it was Happening. Cleveland Johnny

  • RINGO STAR :) who agree, thumbs up ;)

  • I like Elvis because if it weren't for him John wouldn't got into music and The would of never existed and what kind of world would that be?

  • Best.movie.ever.

  • april wine did a fantastic cover of this, this version's good too though, of course.

  • The Beatles were more than musicians - they were prophets. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then on the main page of the contest, open The Present and read the section about The Beatles. You will see what I mean after you read this. Show it to every Beatles fan you know.

  • ALL TIME FAVORITE SONG BY ONE OF...THE IF NOT THE BEST BANDS EVER!!!

  • boomer1981 Wine would tell you themselves they don't do it as well as The Beatles - as good as April Wine does in fact do a heck of a job in having recorded the song themselves, Drop Your Guns Check it out. Peace.

  • Elvis started it and the Beatles sealed it. What Reverend Vail? the music that sends more people to 'HELL' then any other...sorry but very true. Now it all 'HELL' based.

  • i think im crying:)

  • And the best part...Lennon plays as if he doesn't give a fuck, just let it rock.....

  • The way the young girls in the audience are looking at the "lads" really says it all in terms of the way most of us in the USA and around the world felt about these four very "magical" fellas....Didn't matter if you were a girl or guy, young or old.....they really had something that was special beyond words at the right time that will be remembered for many generations to come. Those very lucky few who got to see them all at the Ed Sullivan shows in NYC must have gotten the thrill of a lifetime!

  • tell me why todays music ain't got the same soul as The Beatles era

  • sounds pretty good, thanks for your effort mate.

    Tom from Aussie

  • I mean there were many awesome singers.... whatabout Freddy ?

  • @kutilkol Kruger?? Only kidding, I know what you mean

  • I mean there were many awesome singers... whatabout Freddy ?

  • No one can ever touch The Fab Four. The Beatles are in a class all by themselves. Interesting note: Phil Collins is in the audience. It changed his life.

  • i love the way they hit those high notes, just incredible. i'm 48 been singing all my life and i have trouble with that. Long Live the Beatles, The Greatest Band Ever!

  • Great song and the Beatles are amazing, but I still think April Wine does this one better.

  • @boomer1981abc I know nothing of April Wine, but December booze makes everything better.

  • i like th beatles

  • One of the best Beatle songs in 1964 - a real "grabber" . Maybe that's why the producers of "A Hard Day's Night" chose this song to start off the final finale of Beatle hits at the end of the movie. Really showcases John's fine singing. He was really one in a million.....at least he'll always be remembered for many years to come.

  • Good editing man,nice one.

  • @skrason, Agree.

  • Lennon best voice in rock all time.

  • great song john lennon excellent

  • brings back lots of memories great times

  • The Beatles™

  • Tell My WHy !!!.

    y Love Ringo :D

  • McCartney wrote fine songs and is a good singer, but it's Lennon who'll make you feel something, especially when he sings about loss.

He gives this unremarkable early-Beatles song a sense of bewilderment and grief which, of course, have their roots in Julia's death.

  • @Drblooter99 Paul knows just as much about loss as John he just didn't write about them and that's how some people are. So if writing about loss makes you the better writer than i guess it's John but really Paul has dealth with loss more. He lost his mother to cancer when he was about 15 and his wife to the same cancer.

  • @Beatles264

Well, to be fair, I didn't say John was the better songwriter. I said his singing makes you feel something, and Paul's doesn't, much. What I should have said is that John's voice affects ME that way. I shouldn't generalise my experience to everyone.

  • @Drblooter99 fair enough lol sorry for coming at ya like that I'm a huge Paul girl

  • @Beatles264

That's ok! I'm a huge Paul fan too, I just respond in a different way from John.

YT gives youngsters chances to explore classic rock and pop like previous generations couldn't. Some kids take the opportunity, but some stick with Gaga, Ne-Yo, X Factor, Glee etc., because it's "now". The brighter ones explore, and are rewarded by what they find. Good for you!

  • @Drblooter99 Let It Be, Hey Jude, Blackbird, Here there and everywhere, i feel something when I listen to them and there all McCartney compositions so there ya go

  • Comment removed

  • can't stop listening to this song !!! crazy -.-'

  • They are the best - we ALL know that

  • Woah. The Beatles. I only have 469 characters left, and that's not even close to what it's going to take me to say about them... THE BEATLES SHALL BE REMEMBERED FOR EVER AND EVER.

  • yes amazing compared what we listen to now .

  • Great post here...tks. alot ... surely brings back sweet memos...gosh how much I loved this moody tune.

John, I have a feeling ya would have been a great Lad even if ya would have just turned to 70.

TG we haven't lost ya :-)))

    5 stars!!!

  • HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY JOHN WINSTON LENNON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    WE ALL LOVE YOU

    R.I.☮

    ☮ιмαgιηє☮

THUMBS UP IF YOU WISH JOHN A HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!

  • Well done on the mix, mate -- this is my favourite of the YT posts of this song. Fantastic clarity.

  • Great mix. Brings the vocals alive.

    Nice job.

  • Bloody Hell -- most of those awestruck little girls are pensioners now!!!

  • @Drblooter99

    No, all of them are!!!

  • It's amazing how the beatles always had a way of getting into your heart with every song thye sung and wrote

    amazing

  • I love The Beatles, but I just can not keep a straight face when I watch video's of them. I mean I like watching John, George and Paul rocking out and singing. But when the camara films Ringo, it makes me chuckle. Ringo has this adorable smile on his face because he knows that the screaming girls aren't screaming for him but he doesn't care! Not being rude to Ringo but that just makes me laugh.

  • Sounds good. I think it's better than the original maybe.

  • Had to laugh at Brian E. rockin-out on the vid board. Like a Modster Mr. Bean!

  • @ZWILD1 Don't believe that was Brian E. on the vid monitor. But an actor, Victor Spinnetti, who also did some scenes with the Bealtes in "Help."

  • During those years, there were new Beatles songs coming out every week. From fourth grade to sophomore year in high school. It was incredible.

  • ilovee this song!!

  • My favourite band - still after all these years. They make me feel young, I smile without thought just hearing it. They weren't perfect but they'll do very, very nicely until perfect makes an appearance. They give me the only reason I want to go to Vegas to see the Cirque Love show.

  • go to elvis vids to talk about him this is the beat les

  • i was sitting here humming this and said, i want to utube it- voila ! ! weird seeing John without glasses- -weird seeing John and George sharing a mike- awesome stuff i boogied to a long time ago-- thanks

  • Elvis was great for the first couple of years, before he went in the army. People forget that he ended up with tiny record sales and doing 'cabaret'. Amazing how many Elvis fans there are since his death. Why weren't they buying his records when he was alive ?, might have prevented his descending into depression and drug abuse.

  • @ipolson Elvis's depression & drug addiction had nothing to do with his career or record sales, & sadly, nothing could have saved him from himself.

  • @hiyadroogs: I Hear what you say, and its no doubt correct, but by chance there was an Elvis documentary on TV last night , where he is being interviewed a year or so before his death and complaining that he cannot find any good songs to sing and looking pretty miserable about it. Spooky coincidence !

  • @ipolson Interesting! Have you read the biography 'Elvis, what happened?' By his bodyguards? Red West, who knew Elvis from childhood, seems to indicate that Elvis's moods & drug habits began to unravel after the death of his mother while he was in the army. Even then, he was experimenting with amphetamines to stay awake on guard duty. The industrial amount of prescription drugs he took later would upset anyone's brain chemistry. A great shame, as he was a very good man.

  • @hiyadroogs No, I am not an Elvis fan.

  • @ipolson

Actually in his whole career he was great, sure he changed style, but still, he had it.

Not tiny? He was still best selling from 1970s, and 2nd best selling of 60s(beatles were 1st) out of many billions?

Come on Kid, You can't be so much ignorant if you have researched so much.

  • @UJ00UJ: I was thinking about his sales in the last few years before his death.

No one would argue that his sales in the last few years were anywhere near his peak, would they ? I mean, come on, he ended up in cabaret !. And I'm not a kid, I am 57 !

  • @ipolson

That's ok, But still i think 'cabaret' is a wrong word, He sure started performing in different costumes, but then you will obviously call cabaret to the whole 70s culture, which included david bowie, rolling stones, the who, the whole glam scene etc

  • @UJ00UJ: I mean cabaret as opposed to filling stadiums a la Fleetwood Mac and others. His sales overall are huge (bolstered by huge sales since his death) but

in the 70's he certainly wasn't selling (at least not in Britain). But hey, it doesn't matter.

  • @ipolson Elvis dissipated himself by spending ten years of his life making bad movies. So the only thing to come out were the sound tracks that feature several movie songs, since he was typically cast as a wanna be singer.

  • @Tdgonline The Beatles were fortunate to have a good and honest manager (even if he was financially naive when it came to marketing them in the States) while Elvis was in the hands of a compulsive gambler who signed him away for peanuts eg the terrible 30 movies in 10 years deal where only 2 or 3 films are memorable. A good manager would never have allowed Elvis to go the way he did

  • amazing

  • Elvis, The Beatles, and James Brown (vastly underrated) were all phenomenal talents.

  • The ending of this on records is always faded down quickly by the engineers at EMI, hate them, but here it rings a little longer. Cool.

  • one of my favorite songs

  • John had a great voice-listen to Beatles recordings! They are the Best!

  • Terrific version! Love these guys!!!!

  • great job on this mix. thanks

  • Will there ever be another rock singer as good as John? I mean, I worship Bono, and Kurt had an amazing voice, but it's more than 40 years later and still no one can can touch this vocal. Amazing.

  • NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Music went downhill after Dec.8th 1980!

  • Comment removed

  • The Beatles wrote their own songs ( music )

Elvis did not, he was a performer nothing else.

    Still Love them equally.

  • But He played instruments, And it's still great that we should love them equally!

  • @dietfreak123456789 Elvis wrote a couple and not every Beatles song in their beginning albums are theirs, there are a few covers.

  • @clay180 youre right, the Beatles had many covers but they made those cover versions 154651324567 times better than the original versions!!

  • @dietfreak123456789 it doesn't matter who wrote the song it's the impact on music today and I think Elvis did that better

  • @risimas101 oh who cares, are you a music critic for a living?

  • @Valholm haha, probably ;)

  • @dietfreak123456789 the beatle did not write a lot of there songs for instance the whole please please me album

  • @TheBeatles63667

are you nuts? they wrote most of their songs. they did some covers on their first three or four albums. they may have done about 20 covers total. compared to all their own material, it's nothing. get an education.

  • @plicplocfil even the covers were better than the originals

  • @dietfreak123456789 Elvis who? Costello or Pelvis Presley?

  • I'm so glad somone thinks the same as me, I love John Lennon!!!

  • @skrason OMG! you put kurt cobain in the same company as john lennon? i mean, putting bono in there is bad enough, but kurt freaking cobain?

kurt cobain was a meaningless blip on the radar screen. a moron. a terminally depressed loser who screwed up music for an entire decade and a half. who spawned the grunting that passes for singing of eddie vedder which rhymes with cheddar which is how his music smells.

lennon and mccartney cannot be touched. together they are a singularity.

  • @skrason You mean KURT COBAIN?

  • @luke4428 Yeah. I loved his voice. I think Nirvana were an fantastic band, but nowhere near the same league as the Beatles. I was just trying to think of new-ish bands and voices that I liked.

  • oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh....OHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Paaaaaaaaaaauuuulllllllllllll, Joooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnn...

  • I listened to HVS Stereo Mix 1 and 2. I like HVS Stereo Mix 2. It has more punch in the vocals. Thanks.

  • GREAT video! Great sound on it too. :)

  • I LOVE GEORGE!!!!

  • They are awesome.

    Just awesome.
