I personally would, we've had our chance. We aren't some high and mighty superior race. These animals have as much right to live as us. Most people don't even give a fuck about other lives, only their own. Anyway, what have we ever done? Sure, we've helped occasionally, but we've caused more animals to go extinct then we've saved. The human race is a selfish, conceited one. As far as we are concerned, we are so high and mighty that we needn't concern ourselves with the lesser creatures.

Ugh, how can people just burn down amazing forests like these :( Such old trees and forestry should be protected, including the ecosystems within them. We've become too obsessed with what we think WE need and ignoring what our planet needs. I'd rather have to see a million trees then a ton of cement

@Brandeana some people go too far with this, Victoria suffered huge fires because they became fire crazy and the undergrowth wasn't burned away like it needs to be and when it did catch it went berserk. Now Victoria regularly burns selected areas to prevent it happening again.
