  • I couldn't even really tell if the fish was playing with it or not because the camera was so far away from the tank.

  • heres a tip if the betta doesnt react to the white ping pong ball try differant colors some bettas like differant colors more then others

  • Pretty good advice - so long as the color's the ping-pong itself, and not some sort of ink or paint that could mess up the water. Make sure the Betta doesn't take the bright coloration as a threat, either. =D Stress is never a good training tool!

  • It's actually a simple food response just like training a puppy. The first round, I just rewarded her for touching the ping-pong ball. I started with that again the second time, slowly moving to just rewarding when she bumped or pushed it. by this third time, I only rewarded if she bumped it. Bettas are very intelligent and learn things like this quickly.
