I just got mine on Friday the 1st of July 2011. I LOVE IT!!! It's tough it's fun It's what a AVERAGE consumer would love to play with. On the 3 lights on the brush guard. I added working LED's an waiting for my light rack I ordered off of Ebay. To finish off the lighting with brake lights. Only complaint is rear shocks seem slightly squishy so potential upgrade is in order for MY own personal liking. An potential LIPO swap. Bought 2 5000 bats with Deans conversion. Runs strong an run's long!!

I don't think anyone here gets the point of this truck, IT'S A SCALE MODEL ! if you even know what that means.

There are lots of up grades for this, including heavy duty diffs and cvd's to handle a 1/10th scale brushless system with a 3s lipo. The Revo and the Slash are made for different purposes, one shouldn't be compared to the other. Buy them all and run them, wreck them and rebuild them, It's a hobby!

I chewed up 3 spur gears and stripped like 3 screws using a screw driver size suggested in the manual Im selling mine for 100 bucks if you want the heap.

this truck sucks man, and Im only going off of my ecpierience and giving my opinion, stick a motor the size of the velineon in there...its a pain and I know its a 1/12 truck and the motor is 1/10 but what motor could I have put in it to handle 3s lipo, and be water proof. Then theres the suspension.....the ass hits everything and it cases off a 2 foot drop, and that roll cage is annoying as all hell to get around. I like the 4x4 setup because if you wanted you could make it two wheel drive.

i hate thisn truck i bought it and im bitterly disapointed with it there is scale and then there is just slow and dont get me started on the screws it took it to my hobby shop and they tried to get the out and they just rounded off using the size screwdriver hpi tells you to use

@SLASHINANDBASHIN I hate this say this but then this truck isn't for you. It actually very easy to work on. Complaining about a screw is nothing. Go to ace hardware and get hex style screws for 25cents. Plus most people that work in hobby shops have no idea what they are doing.

Just got mine a few days ago, and looks and drives real scale..Im wondering if they are using the dual shock setup in the rear and if they changed the stock shock oil to something thicker or are did they just use everything stock in the clip?I didnt take mine out of the box for 4 days when i finally did, i let it simmer on the cool cardboard desert backdrop that came inside the nicely packaged box for another 2 days than i finnaly went out and roughed it up a bit :(...
