  • hahahahahaha! nononononononon

  • Wow, for someone with perfect pitch, he's pretty flat ALL the time!

  • @LizandraPretorius do you mean he's flat all the time in this exercise or are you talking about in his actual songs?

  • @PolindaleProductions hes actually doing these specific exercises EXTREMELY well, this is coming from a voice student who does these everyday.

  • @alextmumumum i know, i know, i was just replying to lizandrapretorius' comment

  • wow thats high. Anybody that sings knows thats talent to get that high with out breaking....

  • @Str8upLaw not talent: technique! That's what I learned

  • @MisusePerfected Not really because not everyone has that much vocal range (naturally). You might of had the ability to get up into alto or soprano range but not have known it until you were trained. I am a natural Tenor and I have to be in fallsetto to get that high. So I disagree

  • @Str8upLaw What is natural? Lots of people need to be shown how to sing correctly, but that doesn't mean they do not have the natual abilities to do so in the first place. Babies have a very balanced way of using they voice. We just lose that talent when we grow up. If you "break" to get that high and land in falsetto that still means you have these notes naturally, otherwise you couldn't produce them at all. You need even out the voice, and there are exercises for that.

  • @MisusePerfected So what your saying is everybody in the world (with training) can get their voice up that high without going into falsetto and still control it? right? Your out of your mind. Your pretty much saying talent doesnt exist, its all through hard work and training. My point is not just anybody can reach that high note with control, they just cant and some people can.

  • @Str8upLaw No, I wanted to say that the voice is like an instrument that always comprises about 3 octaves at least. Depending on how high or low your voice is situated, this range might be lower or higher. So maybe not everyone might reach THESE high notes, but their highest notes still within 3 or 4 octaves. Lots of men with a healthy voice could reach this note. If you don't want to believe me and not even try to do it yourself then remain the type of singer who stumbles in these ranges.

  • @MisusePerfected So there! you said it yourself "So maybe not everyone might reach THESE high notes". That was my whole point from the very beginning. The very high notes he hit were because of his God given talent. What im trying to say is the talent comes in because of the range he has, because he can also go very low. THATS TALENT. I dont need to try to sing these notes because I know my range and this is clearly out of my range JUST like many other Males. I disagree with you, just accept it

  • @Str8upLaw No, again, not talent, but it depends on where your voice is situated!!!! Maybe u have a deeper voice, but if you go into falsetto at this height, you have these notes, because you can produce them, even though only in falsetto. Think about it. Anyways, I'm tired of telling you that you can do it. Ok, you can't cause you're just not like all the stars out there (Irony!). So quit and don't ever try to be free of frustration about breaking...I just wanted to cheer you up. =/

  • @Str8upLaw So, practically you assume that high notes are talent :P Talent is not range. I can hit everything Michael hits here and I don't sing :P Talent is a mere "extra" understanding of things that other people need to be taught of. Just that. And yes, hard work can outgrow a talent.Have seen it happening and I see it happening all the time.Steve Vai for instance. Oh, and something else. Michael was a tenor probably, clear tenors are extremely rare and it's not about God, it's about genetics.

  • @Str8upLaw And the breaks can be eliminated with the exercises because they are meant to force the voice back into its natural habits, that is the vocal cords can zip up an reopen while you sing up and down, no breaking, no false voice (unless used as a stylistic device) in the higher ranges. THAT is not talent, it is the natural (baby voice) way of functioning. Talent is only what you do with it. Pls believe me.

  • NO.

  • hey this in the year i was born

  • For whoever says this isn't Michael slap yourself this is definitely him

  • wat in the world his voice is deep wow

  • That no no exercise is what I use in vocal coaching all the time hahaha. For all you singers, putting a consonant in front of a vowel like "n" etc; helps you connect your voice better when practicing notes.

  • LMFAO

  • i <3 Michael Jackson

    AND <3 <3 <3 <3 Seth Riggs

  • i am warming up with this right now

  • wow!!! what a voice!!! can't believe these recordings are available!!!!

  • : LOL!!!

  • awesome voice

  • no, no, no, NO, no.... oh YES Mike ;) lol

  • ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • It's a shame he's gone, his personality was so pure.

  • nonono NONONO!!! xDDDD 3:42 - 4: 27

    love it ♥ xDDDD

  • when i first clicked this video i heard him practicing and i was like...... wat the fuck?? HAHAHA :D

  • scaled every note...God I miss him

  • His lowest note is an F2!

  • Like, like.... LIKE!!! AAA !! Michael's sweet voice !!!

  • He was hitting the high notes in 94, imagine the sessions they had 10 years earlier. Wooooo!

  • MJmarcelaMJ , yea , honey it is . I know mike's voice & obviously yuu don't . don't assume thinqss .

  • itsi funey

  • This is not Michael.

  • @MJmarcelaMJ it's him

  • it's so strange and fascinating to hear him like this :)

  • I studied with one of Seth's protoge's and it was the best training I ever got from anyone. I love this because it just puts the voice through calisthenics to go from low to high without breaks and to strengthen each part of the vocal chords.

If you're a singer, THIS is the way to go. Every other vocal coach wanted me to train like B'way or Opera. This just teaches your voice how to move. Michael is beautiful even in practice.

  • @RhythmUniverse Where was this I want to improve my voice even more please and thank you.

  • HIS VOICE IS AMAZING!!!!! :D ANYONE LIKE HIM, HE IS THE KING OF MUSIC!

  • no no no no NO NO NO ..lachflash xDDDD

  • Man, where did this come from?

If it really is him it's like watching Jordan do lay up drills, or Arnie doing arm curls, or Vera Wang doing prelim sketches for a fall line 2 years ahead, Nicholson rehearsing "you can't handle the truth....", Hawking solving Matrices.....You get the idea.

And proof that to be this good, you have to work Garddayum, MarthaFrickin, HARD.

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!

  • You talk black by saying dat instead of that, im not saying all black people, but a lot of them. There are some trashy whites too, but not as many. Mj is one of those good blacks that everyone thinks he bleached his skin. Hell, i would too if i had what he had, vitligo, whic his skin turns white, and instead of having black and white spots all over him, he chose to wear makeup and to be white since white took over most of his body, so i hate when people say that he wanted to be white,.

  • @carrieunderwood5223 Your comments about black people are making you sound very ignorant.

  • he sounds a little blacker in his songs, which is pretty kool, but i hate how all the nasty black rappers are all overf him now, wanting to sing with im, mj doesnt sing about f ing girls, he sings about feelins and love, not f ing girls and getting boody liek the others do.

  • @carrieunderwood5223 I know that you're stating your opinion but please don't put race into it. "nasty black rappers"? that offended me and that's such a racist comment, and second of all mj was born black and died black, so just because he doesn't talk ghetto and doesn't sing about "f ing girls" doesn't mean he's any less a african american. and for god's sake how the hell does someone "sound" black?

  • No no no no NO NO no no no no . lol

  • @ladymusiclover i loved that part too lol i miss mj hehe

  • he can really deepen his voice

  • @TheChristianGamez His voice is deep by default.

  • I hate when i have to hit high notes in Chorus Class. The highest we went was like almost screaming while we were singing Flanders Fields.

  • @PurpleRachel14 I love that song. I sang that in honor chorus.

  • @theconfusion105 yeah. R u soprano or alto? Bass maybe?

  • @PurpleRachel14 I'm a tenor.

  • @theconfusion105 cool. Sopranos have the hardest part since we go real high. ugh. but it's a really nive song.

  • I bet there videos of him yawning LOL

  • @PB142MJJlover um...adult Michael basically sounded the same from age 24 (Thriller) to end of career. If you dont know his vibrato, youre not a fan, sorry. It's the most recognizable part of his voice besides the tone.

  • This is not MJ at all! He has a soft voice!

  • @mspyuen thats definitely him. listen to his vibrato when hes in his cheast voice. if you were a real fan youd know that voice anywhere.

  • @mspyuen no it's michael. Trust me.

  • Can he be my music teacher?! That's all I ask.

  • wow, he can hit every note flawlessly, i was expecting him to mess up at least one note O______O wow, he IS the true reigning king...even in death

  • who in the hell will "unlike " a masterpiece of a vid like this -___________-

  • no.

  • you all gotta remember that Mike was suffering from a chronic lung inflammation, and he still could still sing like a motherfucker..what a talent

  • @SuperstarRichardG I AGREE, HE HAD VOCAL PROBLEM LARYNGITIS IN 1990'S ONWARDS. This is 1994 and he is suffering lung and voice problems at this video. BUT HE HE IS THE KING NO MATTER WHAT

  • @SuperstarRichardG he was? since when? was it because of that pepsi accident?

  • He sounds like a Teletubbie being beaten with a stick.

    He's still badass though. XD

  • it sounds weird at first...

  • Even in its most raw form, with no music and no editing, this is my favorite voice ever. :)

  • It's nice to know Michael sounded just as mental as the rest of us when doing these exercises.

  • what are you guys talking about! this sounds terrible!

  • Puede decirse sin lugar a dudas que Michael Jackson tiene doble mérito por haber sobrevivido de forma tan airosa a este terrorista de la voz.

  • Adoreii sz'

O Mike é foda néé ...rsrs'

    Bye

  • some parts were rough but AMAZING

  • hahaha, it got funny towards the end XD

  • lol sounds like he's sliding down a slide....and he's having fun.

  • Sharps.

  • This dude can sing all the notes perfectly

  • mj is a legend

  • oh god how beautiful, i wear my headphones and it feels like hes here singing right next to me

  • so amazingly gorgeous!

  • he is fucking his vocal cords. He isngs using his throat. This is poor and wrong.

  • @JurasicMan

He had been singing professionally since he was 6 years old. I think he knew what he was doing.

  • @JurasicMan shut up he is the king of pop i think he knows what hes doing

  • @JurasicMan are u fucking on crack ??

  • @JurasicMan are you crazy youre saying michael jackson is singing wrong get the fuck out of here

  • God ,I knew that he has a perfect voice but this left me speechless!

  • Some of the comments on here are crazy, paintpelt is 1 of the only 1's who realizes this is MJ. Bella760205 doesn't know what a vibrato is lol. iseeu1980 doesn't know what a head voice or a "falsetto" is lol this is fun to watch. I've never had a decent vocal lesson a day in my life and I know what all of this is. I can't wait till I get my lessons. I'm suprised MJ still needed training after making the song Liberian Girl in '82, towards the end he did exactly what he was doin in this lesson

  • @ZealTruce I do know what a falsetto voice is but I do see your point. I, however, have had a voice lesson and sung in a choir and my coach told me not to force it when I went above my range.

  • this is NOT MJ

  • I don't think it's MJ.

  • Michael was an amazing singer, no doubt about it, but here it sounds like he's forcing it through his throat. It's weird that the coach doesn't tell him to use the abdomen or something like that

  • @iseeu1980 He can sing from his abdomen but if he has to hit the high notes, he would have to use his head register and hit those notes. Remember, here he is in training.

  • Super cuute!! nononoNONONONOnononoooo ^^

  • i giggled a little. mj i miss u.

  • @BLAKPEARL69 i laughed A LOT :D

  • @LEONAELISE lol

  • Mike be hitting them notes!

  • very nice to hear the process of such pure talent! RIP MJ!

  • You can tell he's done some vocal work Roger Love before because at a a few points he obviously goes into middle voice. But he doesn't use it completely I don't think.

  • It`s strange... sounds like he's forcing it

  • Kinda weird to listen to, but you can definately tell it is him.......and yes, his voice is REALLY deep.

  • 0:46

  • rock and roll. Its great to hear this!

  • keep playing 0:51 back, it sounds like a crying baby lol

  • aaaaaawwwwww<3

  • I like his vibrito

  • @ImUrFanGirl sounds like belly vibrato to me..

  • I looooooove this!!!!!!! Here's the proove that he could sing to those who didn't thought so!!!! omg! I love this! :-)

  • OMG his voice is magic !

  • Awww, Michael singing the Nonononononononononooo's is hilarious XD ahh

What a talent he was though! <3

  • @Debbierahxxx THE NONONONONONONONO PARTS ARE CUUUUTE JEJEJE

  • Michael had special musical powers

  • how did you find these recordings???

  • cnt believe this is him ....

  • @kellyjeanine00 Why not, his voice tremours are very distinguishable :)

  • I couldnt beleive he got all deep and sexy then he got back to his normal higher pitch...man he is amazing!

  • Is this really Michael?

  • @1Dubbelman This is Michael, can't you tell? 0_0

  • ithought this was in a studio lol

  • I don't think I've ever laughed so much!

Don't get me wrong, I love Michael and I love his voice. The man had some serious talent! But this is just hilarious :D

  • @NerdGogo

Yeah same here! I laughed a lot.. LMAO

    (I luv Michael though)

  • Michaels voice is deep and sooo sexy!!! Michael is pure perfection...

*No no no no no no no no no no* Love that bit!!! So cute.

  • At first I'm like that is not Michael Jackson but then I herd his voice and I'm like oh maybe it is Michael Jackson

  • Michael's ears are by far one of the most gifted ones. He can hear things we cannot.. and his voice is the extension of those.. and his heart is pure music. <3

  • idiota

  • does anyone have any doubt that he is the best singer ever????.....vocally???

he has the most powerful voice ever..and has a great control of his voice....

people just don't realize how big is his voice because he makes it look effortless when singing .....

  • @2mDINA I dont think he is the best but still hes good cuz theres no such thing as the best.

  • @2mDINA "does anyone have any doubt that he is the best singer ever????.....vocally???"

    Yes, for example, me.

  • @viharsarok mabey you should listen to more of his music, because he is the best

  • @RedvsBlueclean Err... no, he isn't.

  • @viharsarok Err... ya, he is.

  • @RedvsBlueclean He isn't.

  • @viharsarok He is.

  • @RedvsBlueclean Ever heard about Elton John?

  • @viharsarok it's him- u can recognize him even from his low/deep voice.

  • @zeromarcy

but he just does not falsify;)

  • @MJmarcelaMJ ??

do u mean he does not do a "high pitch"...the famous "high notes"?

well this is just a reharsal-

and u should take a look at the world music award 2006, the speech during inthe closet in the historytour, or more simple "come together" in the bad album. this is Michael. I'm a fan since 1996, and I'm totaly sure of what I'm saying.

  • @MJmarcelaMJ Michael used to do vocal reharsal with seth riggs early in the morning on the phones, during the tours. Probably this is one of that reharsal. and Plus: Michael did not always sing in a HIGH PITCH. in many songs (morphine for example). And if u'l think about the falsetto voice that he used sometimes in other occations,u have to understand that it was done to protect himself from the sharks.

  • @zeromarcy I mean it. :) I knew that he just thought that someone somehow distorted his voice;)

  • @MJmarcelaMJ no. no one distorted his voice.

  • wouldnt be quite annoying to keep singing like that for that guy through the phone!! lol your awesome mike...

  • MJ is so amazing!

  • He can hit those high notes no problem and its not rough, its gentle. I like at the end of each time he kind of vibrates the sounds. God bless those vocal chords!

  • My voice would´ve cracked a thousand times doing what he´s doing, lmao

  • This is the voice of a GOD ! I
