The reason they kept the show going to was to kill off Charlie because they hate Charlie Sheen with a passion (honestly who can blame them? he caused lots of problems for them). But they honestly don't care if show show is run into the ground because the producers have plenty of other great shows. In fact they have 2 on the air right now.

I watched it last night, the show is done and they must know it. that's why they made it so ridiculous. It was about as unfunny as it could possibly be. A few more shows with ashton kutcher might do well just for the novelty of it but then it will be off the air. The entire dynamic has changed.

People- Ashton had nothing to do with Charlie being fired- he did it to himself. All Ashton did was take a role that was offered to him. He said he can't replace Charlie. Of course the show is going to be different but I think the writers did a great job. Not often I find myself laughing at a funeral scene..

The Roast of Charlie Sheen was pretty hilarious...Two and a Half Men, however, was not. The funeral for Charlie Harper was cold, unfunny, and illustrated the characters as emotionless juveniles. Despite the bad blood between Sheen and Lorre, they could have showed a little respect for the character, esp. how his "family" (who the character housed for years) handled his death...shame on you Chuck Lorre, shame on you.
