Why is the world judging the Olympics as some sort of 'fireworks competition'?

It's a sporting competition not who can waste the most money on pointless dancing and millions on fireworks.

Newspapers predicted a boycott on beijing over animal neglect..but it never happened..so don't expect for it to happen for 2012 because u think our soldiers are 'raping' people in iraq. If you people are American..then i can truthfully say that there should be no American Olympics. I say that because you Americans are rude and horrible to other countries, and you don't deserve the honor to host the Olympics. And immigrants are just pests..not our fault they come to England.
