No matter how exact you time it, if it's not due to payout, it will skip the winning space. Don't believe me? go back to this video, play it in slow-mo and you will see, that when he presses stop, it skips over the winning block. it doesn't even light up. so technically, you did win, but it didn't payout.
i played this game around 35 times it came out to about 60 something dollars. but i won a psp go, you just have to keep playing. if there is a high dollar item in the it is worth it.
