I think people should appreciate the troops and waht they do, like others have said on here, its their job and its wat they have to do. I feel for their families and I hope all of them return safely and soon as possible. We shouldnt be having political debates on this. Given the history of u.s. military "interventions" and brutal terrorist campaigns it seems like a flimsy argument. So perhaps I should support them for their obvious inability to understand their own history?
I would prefer to support those who are actually involved in promoting equality, freedom and democracy, those in social movements, civil rights campaigns, pro-peace movements, etc...
They may be victims, but they're also complicit regarding those same policies...

In terms of damage done, there's really no difference between so-called liberals and conservatives. They should be more accurately veiwed as two sides of the same coin. Clinton's policies toward Iraq were mild by comparison, but still unjust. The u.s. should return Iraq and Afganistan back to the citizenry...now that would be a step toward success...
