@Abrimaal Yep, I built it. There are no SID chips inside, all sound is generated by an ATmega88 microcontroller, pushed to its limit. But the SID chip was obviously a source of inspiration.
I like the oldschool scrolltext in concept; it's like watching an intro from 1991. But it would be nice to be able to read that at normal speed in the video description instead.
My god. I've been waiting for you to do this one. The memories it brings back. Thanks once again for bringing pure joy to my mind for a blissful 5 minutes. I almost shed a tear out of nostalgia.
I see all these requests, and I just want to say everything you do is already fantastic, keep up the inspiring work and play whatever you like, never feel pressured, anything you choose to play is perfect.
Have you ever played with a Wurlitzer MLM? It's a rather boxy portable organ with multiple analog square-wave generators and n-key polyphony. It sounds just like the oscillators in an NES.
yup, bitchin' as always... xD Hope that DAC you stuffed in her will be good and "dirty" with saturated sound.. Burr Browns are some of the best I hear.. xD
@mariofreak444 ANOTHER GAME?!?! this is like someone took the very best pop songs in the universe, put them in a blender, then put them through a bitcrusher for good measure.
Thanks for the performance :) Btw, did something happen with your right arm? Your play wasn't as smooth as it usually is (Some parts were actually slightly painful to listen to, as your timing was way off), and you're only using left arm..
Great!! Fantastic

This is a suggestion for your next chipophone song; Cavestory - Main theme, or Cavestory - moon(outer wall)
Everyone thumbs this up so he will see and make into a song!

End of line? Does that mean you're doing an arrangement of End of Line from Tron? Because if you are, that would be AWESOME.

This song reminded me of the music in Dizzy (the old video games with the jumping egg). Maybe they're composed by Rob Hubbard too ? Not sure.
If you're looking for some other compositions to play, check out some of the music in Dizzy, maybe you'll like something.
Anyways, keep up the good work, I love watching your videos!
Jakyden 9 months ago
@Jakyden
I believe the Dizzy tunes are from Allister Brimble, maybe not from all the dizzy though ! he definitely had some influence from Rob
