Rolling Stones "The Last Time" song actually plagariazed "This May Be The Last Time", recorded by The Staple Singers in 1950.

So why on earth do the stones alone deserve 100% royalties?

@tremoloheart they basically said that the verve ripped them off, but really it was an orchestrated version of the song "the last time"(which sounds NOTHING like the original)had a very similar music melody. so the stones apparently weren't making enough money during their retirement home tour, so they sued the verve and the verve lost rights to the song, and that event basically broke up the band for the most part. I'm pretty sure all this is right. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
