omg this scares me so much, im gonna start my PPL in the new year, and if i have time before the summer (assuming i fly everyday at least) i will want to start my instrument training, this looks very intense.

John and Martha are the best! I was GIVEN their whole Private Pilot Course on VHS back in 1998....saw them once on the news speaking about 9/11 in Sept, 2001 and had not seen them again untill recently here on you tube....I Hope that I can meet them and THANK them in person someday!!!! Highly reccomend ALL of their courses to every and anyone who wants to be a Pilot or become a A&P!!!!

I passed my IFR checkride the first time :). It didn't go as smoothly as seen on this video, Martha makes it look way too easy. I also didn't look as dry as Martha does if you know what I mean. Can anyone say sweat central? The IRA is definitely not easy to get.

i agre with you and its not just with flying..they have raised all the living expenses while freezing or lowering our wages. we are in constant slavery by the ruling elite (illuminati). people think its a weird conspiracy theory, but its so true.

@lavakava Its a population issue. People wont stop having babies. So prices go up. Simple supply and demand comboed with the watering down of people so they dont need anyone and everoyne is expendable. Theres always someone else to do your job. We are doing it to ourselves. I could really care less but thats whats going on.

I agree with you. The FAA was formed largely for the safety and regulation of General Aviation. But at the same time those strict regulations will be the downfall of General Aviation, and when that happens the economy will be heavily effected. Few people actually understand the positive impact GA has on the economy. I strongly believe that flight is a god given right for every one to enjoy, not a privilege for the wealthy.

@InfiniteMushroom I totally agree and have thought of that myself. I'm Canadian and they want only the rich to enjoy themselves. I don't fly but I ride a Harley. The cost of plate's in Quebec now is $526 a yr., ins. is $400 and driver liscence is $150 a year. Everything the commen man does is constantly raised. The greatest pleasure for me is my bike, but only on pension so don't know for how long. I'm fucking fed up.

Hey, she made a big mistake that could have caused a crash.

When she handed over control, you say, you have the controls, then the other guy says i have the controls, then you say you have the controls.

She didn't repeat.

@biggestMetallicAfan i hardly think it would have caused a crash in that situation, but you are correct, the PTS states that a DE is looking for positive control exchange in a 3 part back and forth: you have the plane / i have the plane / you have the plane. tsk tsk, king schools! :) then again, that might have been in the last few years, this video is older.

lol..its not blindfolding. It only makes you look at the instrument panel and not outside. IFR flight training totally depend on the instrument panel on the aircraft . That's why the IFR training goggles are for.
