I understand you want to hear & post the writer doing her song, but why believe something that's not true? Perry has a very distinctive voice, & this clearly isn't it.
No this is NOT Linda. There IS a video of Linda singing Beautiful and you can SEE her playing and singing it. Doesn't sound like this at all. Check out my channel's favorites and you'll see it.
This is not Linda. And as for those of you who think Christina Aguilera is not giving her credit-well, you probably haven't seen any of those performances with Linda accompanying her. Some of them on TV, like The Voice perfomance. She didn't have to invite her, but she did. Why? Because they are friends and Aguilera values Linda's work. And believe me, every true fan of Christina knows who has written this song, so she doesn't need to repeat it every time.
@PavleenaX If this isn't Linda, then would you please grace us with the true Linda-sung track? Because I, as well as my viewers, would love to hear it.

And I watched the Voice performance! It specifically motivated me to find a version with Linda singing the track. I searched for Perry download torrents and found one with this song in it. :)
@etherealromance First off, I have been listening to Linda's music since 4 Non Blondes (my dad was their fan). I have been basically growing up listening to her music, so I can instantly recognize her singing. The voice of the person singing on this track is not hers and I doubt it is even a female singing. And it's not just about the voice, Linda's music style (song arrangement) is different to the people who recorded this one. As for Linda's own version, I'm afraid it has never been recorded.
@etherealromance well i tweeted linda asking how long it took her to write this song here is the response @Bionic_Candy wrote the melody music & most of lyrics within an hour but I couldn't finish because I felt weird singing " I am beautiful" << i doubt you will find a version of her singing, however if u do, please let me know :)
