everybody's gotta stop ragging on her, i love this version. i like her emotion and her voice and the instrumentals. i also love pearl jam's for the same reason. it's just a different interpretation and if you don't like it then you don't have to listen to it.

i think it's great and I'm a big Pearl Jam fan! This version will reach and touch a whole different group of people and it's great that Eddie's song can do that. I find the video very inspiring and her voice is pure and beautiful

not very good IMO - like other posters have mentioned, vedder brings raw emotion to his vocals. she basically turns the song into a snoozefest. she has a nice voice, but it's boring.

For all the meanies on here...I don't think Charlotte is trying to be Eddie. She's trying to be Char. The brilliant thing about her doing cover songs is that she doesn't TRY to be the original artist; she tries to give it her own voice, her own soul, her own flavor. She wasn't trying to be Eddie; she was trying to give the song a new twist. Nothing wrong with that. Charlotte is immensely talented, and if you don't agree that's fine but don't be rude.

Brave attempt but impossible for a female voice to do the song justice. Just so hard to match the intensity in Eddie Vedders voice. Also whereas the original slowly but surely builds i find this version stutters a bit almost as if she's struggling to get the words out.
