wow, takes me back! He is such a sweet person too. I saw him in Dallas with the DB's. He used to send me Christmas cards...I guess he got hitched and that had to stop! Lol!
No doubt Heames was incredible, he was in a band called the Vanguard with my cousin. Watching him in some freeform jams--he was unreal. Great drummer too.
I still want to see the video of Robert Plant mowing Mitch's lawn.

Mmm... I missed most of 1989 musically. Where was this gig.
Presently I'm looking forward to Halloween so I can catch 'Gravel Truck' Mitch's "Let's Active Cover Band"

Guess y'all haven't heard Heames on lead guitar. He's one of the most talented musicians that I've ever seen - a true triple threat.

John is the most talented musician that I have ever personally known. He was crazy good in Motorcaster.

Wow - what a treasure! Such an underappreciated band. I've been listening to Cypress recently and it's such a great, great album.

a) "Big Plans For Everyone" was the most underrated album of the '80's.
b) Angie Carlson & Mitch Easter worked extremely well together.
