They'd be in an uproar over this.

But if I were black, I would probably find Mush Mouth's vocal characterization more offensive than Jar Jar Binks -- what with the pattern of his speech and the way his face was drawn by the artists. Imagine if Cartoon Network or Boomerang attempted to give him the same marketing treatment as Scooby Doo or Fred Flintstone in an effort to contemporize him in the present day.
