  • "All musicians are thieves, the good ones take it somewhere new and the great ones do it more than once." -- Muddy Waters. Led Zeppelin did that with this song. I love both, they're both incredible separate from each other.

  • pwned

  • Fact being, Page didn't know I'm Confused was a Jake Holms song, and upon realization paid him handsomely and added his name to the credits of the remasters. So quit yer bitching!

  • God! Zep haters do your fucking homework! Here's a little mindfuck for you. Jimmy Page played on You Really Got Me and The Who's Substitute. Never got credit for either. And don't call me a "Fanboy" I'm 45 years old and teach rock history. As for Dazed, the Yardies were playing it with Beck before Jimmy joined the band. Led Zep were the New Yardbirds and carried on the setlist as they had 6 weeks under contract to make an album to tour on. It wasn't till the 3rd album they had a chance to write.

  • well, it's not really this version which Plant took it from... Small Faces made a cover of this song, but it was called "You Need Loving"... that's what Plant took the vocals from...

  • This is the real McCoy and it speaks volumes. It is real working mans music sung by the folks who lived the hard life that helped create the blues sound.Sure some long haired sissy boys can steal it,amp it up and get worshiped by a bunch of middle aged Homer Simpson like simps. But they can never get the true feeling anymore than a city slicker who claims hes a real cowboy by visting a dude ranch.

  • Page borrowed alot and he added alot. When he went too far, he got sued. The real tragedy is that none of the Black Bluesmen were able to get much financial security from creating one of the greatest art forms, The Blues, that ever existed. It was hardly Zepplin's fault. The real culprit is "White America," which never acknowleged their greatness and had to be reminded of their very existence by British bands and photographers like Dick Waterman.

  • @DarthSmittius they should have spelled muddy waters right in the citations

  • ZEPPELIN FANBOYS FUCK OFF AND JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!

  • Led Zeppelin didn't copy this version so much, however the band has said they were fans of Small Faces, who did a ripoff of THIS song called You Need Loving... Whole Lotta Love sounds very similar to that version, especially Robert Plant's vocals! So sad when the copycats get credit...

  • Very few blues tunes were actually written by the people who made them famous. It's because the genre wasn't started by a musical community that was concerned with things like copy rights and record deals. The blues is a form of folk music. Lambasting any artist for use one of these tunes would be like condemning the Grateful dead for doing songs like "Whiskey in the Jar." Or a modern theatre company for modernizing and performing Shakespeare.

  • @Tangledintothemystic lol, except the theatre company would acknowledge that its Shakespeare and not pretend like its an original production. I don't know how hard this is for people to grasp, but even in a situation where authorship isn't 100 percent clear, it's proper to list the credit as "Traditional" Other blues-rock bands gave proper credit and no doubts their greatness (ie. Rolling Stones, for example)

  • @Tangledintothemystic

Ridiculous. That may be the case with some of the old old blues, but not tracks like "You Need Love" or "Killing Floor." Or "Blackwaterside" or "Dazed and Confused" which weren't even American blues songs.

  • Any of you who critisize Led Zeppeling for essentially doing this song obviously doesnt understand how the blues travelled across the atlantic. At the time Zeppellin was making music popular bands like them were really bringing great blues classics like this one to an audience who had never heard them before. .

  • I still don't think this sounds like Zep...

  • @dkmanio

You never heard Whole Lotta Love? It's a clear rip off.

  • Its called a reworking. Muddy Waters did it too.

  • @quatermas7 You can "rework" without plagiarizing

  • @AliceNchainz011 Or you can at least give the originals credit.

  • BAD!

  • Just goes to show the constant rip offs of Black folks talent and skills throughout the history of European and American culture, was so common place , that even today a lot of people feel that it is not important to give credit where it is due. Just take what other people create, and claim it as your own. It's the American and European way.

  • Honestly Marriot did the more blatant rip off here/

In TSF song the lyrics AND the music is ripped.

But IT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER If its good music I'll listen to it.

I don't listen to music caring about a fucking credit

  • "You need lovin'" wasn't released at the time so obviously there wasn't any money to be made by taking The Small Faces to court-Led.Zep was a different matter. They had money to burn.

  • It's a goddamn shame.

  • power of blues

  • i used to think ,until recently, that whole lotta love,iz zepplins masterpiece

bt then i watched a documentary and found out bout the whole small faces muddy waters situation, obviously muddy waters was the inspiration of small faces and led zepp bt the fact remains, whole lotta love by led zep has the riff so powerful that there is nothin like it,its still playin in my head

  • @utkt91 I can't understand a single thing you just said... Use less commas and more periods man...

  • Comment removed

  • Zepp didnt steal music, they stole the lyrics and thats what they got in trouble for. The music doesnt sound like any of the songs they "borrowed" from.

  • Who dislikes this?

    :O

  • zeplin copied the record company

  • It's not really about Zep stealing this version. What Zep ripped off - note for note - was the vocal on the Small Faces version of this. (See link at right).

  • Comment removed

  • @failuremagnet

Absolutely. People I play "You need loving" for & have never heard it think Its someone trying to sound like Zeppelin. I remember reading that a young Robert Plant was a huge Small Faces fan & used to get backstage & kind of get on the bands nerves. Cant blame him for wanting to sound like Marriot though~~~

    kevin775775 1 second ago

  • @failuremagnet They might as well have just asked either Marriott to sing it, or try and steal the vocal track from the Small Faces version of this. Shocked.

  • i don't really see how led zeppelin stole this...it's not like they play the EXACT same thing. obviously they took some lyrics and rearranged them, but that's how the blues used to work, people would play other peoples songs

  • Someone made reference to LedZep. "paying tribute" to "old blues standards" . . . . .i suppose everybody's perception of time and space will undoubtedly vary . ..but. . . . to my understanding This song was release 1962. . .Led Zep release Whole lotta loving in 1969. . . . .in this case it sounds like some young bucks getting over zealous with their song writing. . .and not so much. . . . a rock band "paying tribute" to old blues standards. . . . 7 yrs is not that old.

  • Has anyone here asked Jimmy about it? Doubt it.. =P Goin back under the bridge now.

  • Whether you say they made mistakes, or they some how forgot to give credit, or maybe they were paying tribute to the artist they stole songs from, the fact is stealing is stealing and it is wrong, no matter how you say it or look at it. Oh, by the way, Willie Dixon never actually sued led zepplin, he sued his record label for royalties after they sued led zepp and won, they never paid him either!

  • @Holiwuudh He didn't want money. He wanted his name as one of the writers. Robert Plant was the one who did it, not Page, or Bonham, or Jones.

  • @Evan42881

Your name on the credits gets you money on the publishing.

  • @BaronM oh, I didn't know that....

  • Whole Lotta Love is totally different: beat, guitar, overall feel. The only commonality is the lyrics which aren't really very inspired. Robert Plant screaming his guts out over thudding drums and masterful, original guitar work IS inspired.Led Zeppelin openly acknowledged sources and paid royalties. Who the hell would have ever even heard of this song if it wasn't for Zeppelin?

  • @Scrimmer08 I agree with all, 'cept the last part. Muddy Waters AND Willie Dixon are quite well known, especially in the blues community. Plant and Page were huge blues fans, where do you think they heard this from?

  • @chocolatedonut31 - Agreed. But outside the Blues Community Dixon/Waters would definitely be less well-known if not for Zeppelin. And yes Jimmy & Robert were huge blues fans like so many other english musicians in the 60s.

  • @Scrimmer08 And who would have heard of Zeppelin if it wasn't for artists like Muddy. They would have probably have been playing in brass bands at English church fetes. You sound like Monty Python. So apart from inspiring the Rolling Stones (named after his lyric), the Yardbirds, Bob Dylan, Clapton(last artist to play with Muddy) and the whole early sixties British blues beat scene from which popular music flourished what did Muddy Waters ever do for us. Prat.

  • i dont get people the only frickin thing led zeppelin ever did was using lyrics that were like 20 years old before muddy waters, willie dixon etc.. used it and then when zep was the best band ever people began to get jealous and started sueing them! guitar, drum, bass, organ everything was original so i think zeppelin really did care about others when the settled if i were them i just say fuck off dont be a leecher.. BUT I DO RESPECT AND LIKE THE REAL BLUES ARTISTS

  • @LovePrayPlayGuitar. I agree. They can copy a little bit of the melody and of the lyrics but they copy it because they like it so why not? And take it easy, whole lotta love is very different, just the lyrics and a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit of the melody. Listen to Im a Man (Bo Diddley) and Mannish Boy(Muddy Waters). These are copies.

  • I love reading all the excuses white rock lovers make for the rip offs committed by their white rock heroes, but let a rapper sample 8 seconds of a song and they spew nothing but hate at how unoriginal he is. BTW if you listen to the bassline on this, you can hear where Page got his guitar riff for Whole Lotta Love.

  • @jackiechampion i don't get into the whole black white thing but Zeppelin ripped so many artist off it's ridiculous. Then they get credit for being one of the best bands ever. wow

  • WOW!!!!! Just Wow!

  • His voice sounds like Samuel L. Jackson's.

  • I'M PRETTY SURE THAT ALL THOSE OLD SCHOOL BLUES MEN.

DON'T CARE THAT THEIR MUSIC WAS LATER COVERED, ETC.

    LIFE GOES ON.

  • So this wasn't EVEN Small Faces? OMG.

  • Plant used some lyrics from this, so what, blues musicians always recycle lyrics, the riff doesn't sound remotely like this and do you hear a 2 minute drum solo in this song?

  • @adamskirving well said Adam people should learn their history mate !!!!

  • it is just a matter of ackowledgement fo the true creators of the sexy blues feeling which was greatly reinterpreted by younger musicians. This was done by the stones, the yardbirds, animals. etc.

  • @adamskirving It's fine if Zeppelin used lyrics from other songs, but it's unacceptable that they never credited these artists until it was brought to attention.

  • @adamskirving No not similar but wow it really does sound like the Small Faces version, now doesn't it??

  • @adamskirving haha you're a led zepplin DICK RIDER

  • doesn't sound vry much alike...but the lyrics...

  • It cost 1 million dollars to the Led Zeppelin, so I guess everybody's happy now.

  • Wow, my opinion of Page and Zep ust went through the floor! F em! Did they pay M Waters and Dixon et al for these blatant ripoffs? He even ripped off his buddy Jeff Beck!

  • @socrates1818 They took some of the lyrics ok but this song is defenitly not as epic as "Whole Lotta Love". And blues musicians always steal some part of other musicians' songs anyway.

  • who gives a shit if someone stole it everyone steals from everyone. the government steals from you every second you dont argue about that now do you? bunch of hypocrites.

  • what kinda guitar is that in the pic?

  • @vodarklord It looks like an old Harmony archtop to me.

  • ofcourse it was the lyrics though that were taken. Led's actual music part is completely original.

  • @GranDrJ Not true. The melody of the lyrics is "actual music," and the melody is practically identical to Muddy Waters' original.

The lyrics are "actual music" when they are sung, and since Robert Plant did sing the lyrics, your statement that the "actual music" part is completely original is false, unless you mean "completely original to Muddy Waters."

Led Zeppelin is nothing but a bunch of plagiarists. It's difficult to find any song they recorded that is in any way their original work.

  • @1GodOnlyOne Led Zeppelin cover You need loving by The Small Faces. and Steve Marriot (from small faces) is Jimmy's friend. and i don't know why Dixon sued Zeppelin but didn't sued The Small Faces. The Small Faces didn't give a credit to dixon. okay, Led Zeppelin made some mistakes, such as How Many More Times, Lemon song, Bring it on home, and Dazed and confused. but it doesnt mean they dont have an original song? have you ever heard No quarter,, the battle of evermore, achilles last stand?????

  • @zzy66613 You sir know what your talking about. Correct me if I'm wrong but these led Zep covers stopped around their third album, right?

  • Comment removed

  • @Rockshift999 actually, they still cover some song in next album. such as gallows pole, Hats Off to (Roy) Harper, even since ive been loving you is actually use the lyrics from band called Moby Grape in their song "never" but they didn't give credit, hmm..... and then when the levee breaks, in my time of dying, boogie with stu, custard pie (borrowed some old blues lyrics) and nobody's fault but mine. they are great. but, indeed, they made some mistake with credit

  • @zzy66613 Holy cow. I didn't know the list of covers went that far. Some of those songs I really love but didn't have a clue, although I guess they didn't borrow from anyone when composing Stairway . To be honest I don't think it's possible to come up with original stuff playing in 12 bar blues. Everyone who does so borrows from somebody else eventually. But Zep should've credited some of those songs as covers. It doesn't hurt to be honest in that matter.

  • @Rockshift999 some songs have credited. like gallows pole (tradd, arr page), In my time of dying (tradd, arr all member), hats of to (roy) harper (tradd, arr Charles Obscure), when the levee breaks (Memphis Minnie, all member), boogie with stu (all member, Ian Stewart, Mrs. Valens). Nobody's fault but mine (its actually the original version is not registered with any copyright association and resides in public domain). they haven't give credit for dazed and confused and white summer...

  • @zzy66613 dazed and confused was a mistake???? it's one of the most bad ass song that i've herad

  • @felipkiller i mean, Zeppelin was (actually) cover that song. but, they didn't give credit to Jake Holmes. okay, i know zeppelin's version is different, but the basic of that song is based on Jake Holmes's version. i know led zeppelin is the heaviest band in rock history. they probably the greatest band on stage.

  • @zzy66613 oh ok but on the stage i would say queen (live aid was awsome) but Led Zep is really good two :) my favourite bands of all time :D

  • @felipkiller well, everybody has their own opinion :) I love queen too!!

  • @felipkiller

'Dazed and Confused' was just another example of Zeppelin's plagiarism. They didn't just rip off black artists. Check out the original by Jake Holmes, never credited or reimbursed by Zeppelin just like so many others.

  • @zzy66613 HOW can you call MISTAKES How many more times, The lemon song, Bring it on home, Dazed and confused... just because they recall old blues standards? You totally misunderstand Led Zeppelin!

  • @ledcorsar0 sorry, im a Led Zeppelin fans. if you said that im missunderstand them, its okay. its your opinion. but, they didn't give a credit to old blues musicians when the cover that. and, i think its not good. now, they have give credit to them. Led Zeppelin is great. still my number one band of all time. but, we have to see the problem from any side right? i love blues and i love led zeppelin.

  • @zzy66613 Fine, I'm calmer now. No discussions between Zep's fans ;) I think that making covers without giving credits is surely part of a Led Zeppelin-style!

  • @zzy66613

Marriott did not make any money off of it.

Marriott was asked if he was interested in joining Zep before Plant. Plant was a fan of Marriott,

  • @zzy66613 Yea they have original songs but it just shows disrespect to music and those artists when u steal their material

  • @zzy66613 they also stole the riff 2 stairway 2 heaven from someone else

  • @gnr4ever999 No, they didn't. Although the intro sounds somewhat the same, it isnt the same intro from Taurus.

  • @1GodOnlyOne ... Ten Years Gone, Carouselambra, Celebration Day. To name a few.

  • @zed0469 They probably stole those too. Any evidence they didn't?

  • In 1962, Muddy Waters recorded "You Need Love" written for him by peer Willie Dixon.WIKIPEDIA but still I swear I heard other versions.

  • watch " you need loving" the small faces version of this song to see how much of a rip off led zeppelins version really was , and for which they rightly got sued and lost for their troubles

  • It doesn't even really sound like whole lotta love at all, except being in the same key, and a few similar lyrics.

  • @Phlemberg All of those similarities In succession. And an in and out riff.

  • the whole point is that black music is one of the only types of music that can travel andywhere in this world. face the facts

  • muddy is bad to the bone!

  • @LDZPLEN thats why i love him

  • this reminds me of hendrix, has that ring to it

  • @utubekilledthecdstar That's Ra-Cist! lol

  • this song is awful. but at least it birthed a brilliant song. whole lotta love.

  • @joemoe23

Both versions are good. What the fuck are you talking about

  • @FuryoftheSound its called free will homey. me disliking it shouldn't ruin it for you, and if it does then you might have deeper issues.

  • @joemoe23 your opinion is wrong.

  • @joemoe23 The clinking of the cowbell is a little annoying but Muddy Waters is far from awful. Well, unless you think lowly of mud. lulz.

  • @joemoe23 i defs prefer this to whole lotta love!!

  • @joemoe23 What an ignorant statement. This song didn't "birth" Whole Lotta Love. This is Whole Lotta Love. The original.

  • @AirRavers723 no it isn't.

  • Big deal if led zeppelin ripped from this guy, they also stole from a dead 17 year old--Ritchie Valens.

  • the whole chess records artist roster was nicked by the UK.

  • so led zeppelin stole this too huh?

as well as stair way to heaven which was by a band named spirit.

  • @dedseason do some research instead of listening to youtube vids and bloggers, listen to both the versions then compare them, alot of the songs zeppelin supposetly stole was not stolen at all, but yea zeppelin still stole like 10-15 songs and thats ALOT! but they did not steal stairway, spirit personaly was okay with zeppelin using the intro in their song before it was released.

  • @aczeppelindc2908 spirit sued there asses and thats a fact they also got sued for days and confused

  • @NeverAloneForever Actually, the story behind "Whole Lotta Love" is reportedly that the riff came first, but Plant didn't know what to sing over it. As he was a big fan of blues and such, perhaps Page's riff reminded him vaguely of this song, which is what prompted the lyrics.

That said, this is obviously where the lyrics were drawn from, so some credit would definitely have been due. And that doesn't take anything away from the Zeppelin song for me, as it's a totally different interpretation.

  • Well, THIS has just made me lose any respect I had for Led Zeppelin. Yo, Page and Plant: what - you didn't have enough MONEY that you had to go and steal Willie Dixon's song?

  • @hildawhitby

The structure of the lyrics and " You need Love" no doubt. But They certainly didn't steal what they did in Whole Lotta Love otherwise. I think what they did was brilliant, and original.

  • @ProtoCosmos The riff sounds like it's obviously derived from the song as well. Not to mention the title was taken from a B.B. King song. So there.

  • Actually, the entire concept of this tune (including the vocal melody and riff), is derived from a song my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, grand ,etc, etc grandfather wrote .... " You need shrubs " by John the Shrubber.

  • @ProtoCosmos Pretty funny.

  • @ProtoCosmos Hahahahahaha!!Funny,man...

  • @ProtoCosmos

    No that´s right.

But definately should have given Dixon a writers credit.

To don´t make that happend they had to settle in cuort with a small sum to Dixon.

    Not very pretty.

  • @hildawhitby this is how music evolves, by copying and making something different out of it. The basic of music is to copy, which the Led Zeppelin were really good at.

You wouldn't give a shit if it was an unknown band that had copied Willie Dixon.

For you info, there are two covers of Willie Dixon in the first Led Zeppelin album.

Well if you are not open minded enough not to worry about which cover is from which artist, it must be really difficult to listen to music...

  • @May68august69 The problem isn't that they copied Willie Dixon's song - it's that they didn't credit him. You want to use the guy's song, fine. Give him credit as a composer and a cut of the sales. But no. He had to SUE them to get credit for his own song. They finally agreed to do so in 1984 - about 15 years after the song came out. That's indefensible.

  • @hildawhitby I totally agree with you, but that doesn't mean led zep are crap!!!

  • @May68august69 For real integrity, Bob Dylan credits Willie Dixon as co-writer of My Wife's Hometown, frrom Together Through Life, although no lyrics are copied. Great example of how the sound evolved but the song morphed into something entirely new.

  • IMHO seems to be more familiar to Suzie Q instead of Whole lotta love...

  • You all realize that zeppelin taking this song and making it different doesn't matter in the blues world. How many covers of hoochie coochie man are there? A lot, and they all sound different. So who cares if zeppelin was influenced by this. Muddy Waters is awesome and his music should influence others.

  • @xdsoldierxd Lyrics.

  • Willie Dixon won a huge settlement from Zep and funded the Blues Heaven Foundation which is committed to ensuring such rip offs don't happen again.

On another level, remeber,if not for the likes of Stones,Clapton,Page,Plant,Beckandtheothers, American Blues would not have had the exposure that was due. The American music culture had reduced Black Blues musicians to the "back of the bus" and they came to Britain. We welcomed them, played with them and gave them the respect they deserved.

  • @Georgie2047 Sai it again Georgie. Many people forget that it was Europe that prolonged jazz and blues over the years. As my research goes on, it seems like in most Amercan musicians life there is a considerable stretch of overseas performances like Quincy Jones, Bird, Muddy, Monk, and many motown groups. I have never been to the Palladum Theater, by listening to 6 live recordings there, I can almost feel the atmosphere.

  • @Georgie2047 The Stones credited people when they used their songs. Jagger and Richards didn't pretend to have WRITTEN Little Red Rooster.

  • sounds to me that Van Morrison got his tunes from Muddy Waters , I believe the played at Queens in the 60,s

  • Sadly, after recently touring Mississippi it's interesting to note, how... basically NO money drifted back into the families and communities of the great instigaters of the blues and modern music.. down south. Apparently, many Americans still... don't really 'treasure their bluesmen enough'...poverty reigns down there. Blues museums abound for rich white 'know it all' 'talent free'...record collectors.

  • Apparently Robert Plant & Jimmy Page have gone down to Helena Ark and Clarkesdale Ms. Plant being the most down to earth and interested in the heritage. However where Jimmy Pages head at is another thing. The recent Doco 'This might get Loud' is a totally aweful ego wank in my opinion. The guitar playing and Pages 'new music' was atrocious [Oh and Jack White needs to divorce himself...he ain't that good...].

  • Yes indeed Plant ripped Steve Marriots vocal take on this tune and as Led Zep they mutant-ed the tune into the classic -'Hole Lott Ta Luv'...that we all indeed loved/love. Hey by the way the Beatles rippped more than you know too EMI had songs in the files..[Fool on the Hill [words & lyrics Bill Marx] for one and the theme to Let it Be'...[Bill Marx].*Now theres a story....folks...

  • Comment removed

  • @shotgunartscene Interesting Info. Let it be is one of my favs... Bill Marx... is? If you have a link or something... that would be great. Thank you

  • For a song to 'live' it must be performed, and that's what Led Zeppelin did for this song and some others they recorded which were based on old blues tunes, they changed it around and revamped it and saved it for a new generation. Now Adam Lambert is doing the same again on his Glamnation tour, saving the song to give it to a new audience and making it live again. youtube.com/watch?v=1ljb_JsvUEc

  • @magsmagenta Sorry that was Fantasy Springs, this is Glamnation: youtube.com/watch?v=JoUlvEtquBY

  • I think the issue of whether Led Zeppelin stole this song from Willie and Muddy was settled in court when LZ agreed to give Willie Dixon writing credit (as noted on the later printing of the album)

  • They "take" Muddy Waters riff and plagiarized tha Small Faces vrsion... NO DOUNT ABOUT IT

  • * 70's and 80's too *

  • Maybe Led Zeppelin's "Whole lotta love" is inspired by this song indeed... But their version is much much better... And in my opinion, they are not to blame because they took this song and made a masterpiece. I'll always respect them for their music and for their talent, because you all have to admit that it takes a lot of talent to perform the way they did back in the 70's. Led Zeppelin IS one of the greatest bands in all music history.

  • For those who don't think the riff was ripped off, just listen to the baseline. It's the same as the Zeppelin song.

  • Damn this sounds like led zepplins whole lotta love..

  • @bloddyslayer

If you think it's similar, I'm curious what would you say after hearing Small Faces - You Need Loving...

  • fucking wonderful

  • a song that has influenced Led Zeppelin's song "Whole Lotta Love"

  • @Stelios94Sam Considering how little they changed it, "influencing" is wrong word. Then again when compaired few other songs from their II album, it's quite original :-)

  • @Retardretroguy yes, original , but imagine that one of the great guitar solos of all time has been taken (especially lyrically ) form Muddy Waters...

  • @Retardretroguy Only the music is different.

  • @Stelios94Sam No Zeppelin stole it and got sued.

  • @Stelios94Sam

It did a lot more than influence it. More like- copied it.

  • @Stelios94Sam influenced???

  • @Profy00 yes?

  • @Stelios94Sam I think it did more than that

  • @Stelios94Sam Led Zeplagiarist, featuring Robert "Plan" and Jimmy Plagiarist. ;-)

  • @Stelios94Sam a song that zeppelin got sued 1 mill for

  • @Stelios94Sam Actually , Willie Dixon won a Lawsuit against Led Zeppelin for copying this song , I guess he doesn't thiink he "influenced" them , more like stealing

  • @Stelios94Sam "Influenced" isn't really the right word. Willie Dixon actually sued Zeppelin for plagiarism. Whole Lotta Love is now credited to Dixon as well as the four members of Led Zeppelin. It was normal back in the day for bluesmen to cover each others songs, but credit was given. Don't get me wrong, Zeppelin's the greatest band of all time- they just shoulda shown Dixon a little more love.

  • @Stelios94Sam Muddy Waters + Small Faces (You Need Love) inspired Led Zeppelin.

  • @TheRunner75 well it is all on wikipedia...

  • @Stelios94Sam Influenced?..sure....

  • @ASacredSpirit Yes...

  • @Stelios94Sam

    yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa "influenced"

  • @Swingfinger Yes INFLUENCED

  • i just hope people realize that the lyrics were ripped and not the actual riff and such.

  • @GranDrJ it's still fairly shitty that willie dixon didnt get writing credit on whole lotta love till the late 80s

  • @theZodiacDigital I completely agree, im just tired of people blaming Page when its actually Plant. They have no clue what they are talking about.
