I am uninsured. Have not had insurance for awhile. I DO NOT WANT INSURANCE. I pay out of pocket for anything medical, and I like it that way.

@thetbomb well my Canadian friends all hate it. My buddy had a six month wait to get his knee done. So he came to the states or he would of starved to death not being able to work. One had to have a bypass while in florida and was told 3 day waiting period. The doctor said he would be dead by then. Some of us free people will resist "the man". A couple years ago I got really sick and had to go to the hospital, because I didn't have insurance and no way to pay it, I'm not in debt and have bad credit. Before I even bought my first car. My grandfather has a bachelors in engineering, laid off. He took a minimum wage job to survive ($8 hr + benefits). There are many kids out of college with degrees struggling to find a job, let alone decent jobs with benefits. It's not just democrats or lazy freeloaders - a wide range of people are hurting.

Every rich country apart from the US has a National Health Care system that works as a safety net for people who cannot afford private insurance. We have the NHS. The NHS looks after you from the cradle to the grave, if you are rich or poor, if you are young or old. It has been running for over 90yrs and no British government would ever take it away. UK citizens have a longer life expectancy then US citizens.

Obama's 30 million is a LIE, there are not 30 million clamoring for insurance. Of that 30 million, and here's the kicker, 80% of them are rich enough to afford the best care. I think a small percentage is people who are not poor enough for aid. So yeah you're right. He's lying.
