  • this is at best a pistol only press, or just for seating purposes.

  • so gay''

  • this looks like a whole lotta fun ...

  • omg that looks hard work get a proper press its easier you know

  • Brother, you need a real press.

  • get a cheap lee bench press. Use this one only for sitting the bullet. What I do is that I size my cases with my bench press. Then I sit the primer and take all my cases to the range. Then I load the poweder and sit the bullets with this hand press. This way I can test the charge.

  • nice Micheal jackson gloves lol

  • i want to make my own rounds so badly cause im bored alot so why not make some rounds? haha but im only 15 haha

  • This tool is ideal for people who don't have the space to set up a mounted press. I have one and it works great. Don't knock it till you have tried it. Sure a mounted press is great but this works very well if you don't have the space.

  • id save my bottle money and buy some thing else

  • I'm going to be stuck loading in 845B.C. until I can afford to load in 2008 A.D. :)

  • never tried one of those hand presses my self, but my mate swears by em, and does all his decapping in front of the tv lol, good idea really :)

  • reloading in 845 b.c.

  • The latex gloves do sort of give the video an X Files look. I keep thinking I'll use gloves for some messy reloading processes but I just wash my hands a lot instead. The hand held press seems ideal for low volume reloading, either at the range or when you don't have room at home for a reloading bench. It looks like a bit of work for rifle brass, but better than the noise from hammering on the Lee Loader.

  • Liberty, Some chemicals can be absorved through your skin into your blood stream. If you read the warnings in some of the reloading products for cleaning, lubing and even the powders, I think you may want to start wearing gloves. I know of one person, mind you this is "here say", who has liver issues due to the constant exposure to powder and other cleaning chemicals. Cancer is also a concern. By the time you wash your hand the stuff may already be flowing through your body. Take care.

  • I agree with the use of gloves. I don't wear them for jobs where there aren't chemicals that tend to migrate through the skin and into the bloodstream. A good example would be solvents and some penetrating oils. Those tend to have small, polar molecules. I use synthetic motor oil as resizing lube and it's a big molecule that I'm confident doesn't penetrate my skin very much, although motor oil can have detergent additives that might be a problem. Less nasty chemicals are better!

  • You are absolutely right! Regret is a horrible thing. I'm a reloader, caster and cancer survivor and since my illness I take every precaution when it comes to handling and storing components and solvents. Although my type of cancer was not related to my hobby I don't want to tempt fate. Certain cancers and ilnesses are fully avoidable so the gloves are warranted! The only time I dont use gloves when reloading is when lubing cases.

  • That looks like some sort of gym equipment. Thats right work those pecks. (said with a grin)

I have never seen one of those work. I have always seen them in the catalog. They are bigger then I thought it would be...

  • Why you use glove you don't want to get your hands dirty LOL

  • well after you lube the case for resizing, you don't want to get your hands oily and if your hand slips on that hand press, you'll end up cutting your forearm.

  • You can't be full length resizing with that press, only neck sizing. You don't have the leverage to do anymore than neck size only. Do you???

  • The hand press uses the same dies that the regular press uses. If the die full length resizes on a regular press, it will do the same on the hand press. The classic press you have to hammer on only neck sizes.

  • Cool dude.

How do you like that press? I plan on getting one as soon as I get some $ saved. I'm only going to be doing handgun cartridges on it so it should be a little easier.

  • Ive had mine for years..it's great if you only want to load a hundred rounds or so....I'm going to get a progressive press one of these days

  • Spooky! Are you handling plutonium or uranium? GGGGeeessshshhh...

  • i hope that is a carbide die
