There is a smirk he gives me, that he did when he looked at me from across the high school cafeteria, which when I think about I usually smile and work out whatever was pissing me off (settling on a compromise). I also think one of the kind moments when he was 17 and my grandma called him at 2:00am to emergency and he did ( I had appendices). Oh! I drive my kids nuts, too!
