I'd recomend trying one of the neue schule bits, havent found a horse yet that doesnt go really well in one, though they are a little more expensive they are definetly worth the extra cash! xx

just a thought but a lady specialises in bitting horses and if you google informed bitting you will find her page. sorted my horses bit out on the flat and plan to have her out when my mares back into jumping as she was in a pelham last season too. this lady is called hilary and was on team fredericks!

I've got mine in a 2-ring one for jumping cause he used to just run at fences in a snaffle and waterford and didn't like jumping much in a pelham but now he's great and waits for fences more :) hope you find a bit that works xx
