Yes, you can kill a cyclope with daggers, took me two throws with the shadowsteel daggers, one to make it get weak and wall down a bit, and the other to throw it at it's eye, and no you dont need to go right up to them and stab them in the eye.

You cant kill the Cyclops by throwing daggers. You have to stab it directly into its eye.

In "Adrenalin Mode" (when that yellow bar next to the health bar is full) Sareth is able to throw daggers towards the enemy. You can also see it, when your sight is fleshing in that "red fire".
