Exciting news. I want to know more about the iBooks Author app, which seems to be for MacOS, possibly not through iPad itself or Win7 either. On price: an iPad and a few ebook textbooks would cost much *less* than the full price of a lesser number of print textbooks, if you figure $60 to $100 (and up!) per textbook in print. The note taking looks good. But what about printing or saving files from the ebook's pages, or notes? What about sharing notes? Still a jump ahead! Cool, Andrew!

you mentioned that employing ipads over students is sort of expensive, there are few examples that already show distributed ipads around schools. living in australia; there have been a handful of schools that have done such a thing, and these updates and new products just increases the likely-hood of ipads being used more
