when I saw the show I saw Phoebe Strole, who usually plays Anna, as Ilse. I'm trying to figure out who played Anna. I remember thinking the girls who played Anna and Ilse looked a lot alike, but I looked on the website and none of the ensemble/swing girls resemble Phoebe Strole. She couldn't have been playing both parts; can anyone help me figure it out?
Phoebe could have been filling in for the day because Lauren (A)might not have an understudy *which is highly unlikely* or (B)her understudy *who is probably Jennifer Damiano* also couldn't perform.
yes, Phoebe and Lauren look a lot alike, but Lauren is much prettier. Phoebe isn't, she does however look pretty on her headshot on the website --- which is what headshots are supossed to do.
Lauren Pritchard definitely wasn't there, I remember getting one of those little papers saying "the role of Ilse will be played by ___" and there used to be a video up of Phoebe playing Ilse on youtube, and I recognized her as the person I saw.
so I'm thinking maybe the person who was understudying Anna did look like Phoebe, but I'm still pretty confused. Thanks for helping though.

hey I have a dumb question.
when I saw the show I saw Phoebe Strole, who usually plays Anna, as Ilse. I'm trying to figure out who played Anna. I remember thinking the girls who played Anna and Ilse looked a lot alike, but I looked on the website and none of the ensemble/swing girls resemble Phoebe Strole. She couldn't have been playing both parts; can anyone help me figure it out?

Lauren Pritchard plays Ilse.
Phoebe could have been filling in for the day because Lauren (A)might not have an understudy *which is highly unlikely* or (B)her understudy *who is probably Jennifer Damiano* also couldn't perform.
yes, Phoebe and Lauren look a lot alike, but Lauren is much prettier. Phoebe isn't, she does however look pretty on her headshot on the website --- which is what headshots are supossed to do.
so chances are you're thinking too much, lol

Lauren Pritchard definitely wasn't there, I remember getting one of those little papers saying "the role of Ilse will be played by ___" and there used to be a video up of Phoebe playing Ilse on youtube, and I recognized her as the person I saw.
so I'm thinking maybe the person who was understudying Anna did look like Phoebe, but I'm still pretty confused. Thanks for helping though.

Pheobe is definitely an understudy for Ilse.
Krysta Rodriguez is an understudy for Anna.

Well, I think Phoebe is pretty, tapxodance, she has a nice smile & pretty blue eyes. Lauren is pretty, too...all of the SA girls are pretty!

the songs are beautiful. the story is a little contrived, but so what. I thoroughly enjoyable production all round, really takes you back to the angst and sexual frustration of your adolescence...
