Why on earth would Michael J. Fox give a damn about human cloning? What is this "agenda" of which you speak? The bill is, in fact, about stem-cell research. You're right: there is a reference to human cloning in the ammendment language--to EXCLUDE human cloning from the research the measure would approve. Talk about twisting the facts....

The Fox ad is nonsense. The Bill has in its title the term "Stem Cell", but it refers to Human cloning. Jim Talent has also never tried to criminalise Stem Cell research. Stem Cell research is legal and ongoing in both Missouri & Maryland. He simply wants to ban human cloning. I don't see anything wrong with cloning or stem cell research personally, but the ad is just bogus. Because Fox is stricken with a disease, doesn't give him the right to mislead the public to further his own agenda.
