I don't know why Z aren't Lurk rushing these mech builds yet. That was the 1st thing I thought of the 1st game I saw Fantasy try it and win. T gets both their academy and ebay really late with the mech build so Z just has to get enough speedlings and prevent scout and Lurk rush. Even if it doesn't work as long as you expo while you do it later Lurk defiler is best against mech. Ultra defiler isn't as good, if they have as many tanks as gogo swarm won't do anything to stop it. Lurks for 0 dmg.
Mech is the way to go against Zerg who pretty much always go Spire first, why go medic marine and be forced onto the defensive giving Zerg an easy path to the spire? With mech you can harass with Vultures and attack midgame, if the Mutas try to stop you the Goliaths mess them up.
Zerg are going to need to give up their focus on Mutas to counter this build, good thing too... I was getting so bored with the Muta vs medic marine + science vessel games.
i really thought july had this game, then he let the vultures distract him from his attack and let gogo build up too many tanks. terran is just too strong for zerg air. they could just spam turrets and still come out economically ahead (75min per turret vs 100min and gas for a muta).
