  • I think many of us knew Lisa had to fix some of the basic technical issues earlier in her career (e.g., labored stroking, forced landings on her jumps, jumps that don't really get much height or coverage--w/ the exception of her 2A).

    I really thought she made the right move when she went from Carol Heiss to the Scotvolds because they were known for instilling correct technique in their skaters. It is unfortunate that she wasn't able to benefit from their mentorship and ended up retiring...

  • There certainly were a lot of 2axels here. She should have attempted the 3sal at the end at least. She could have had some higher technical marks had she not have taken a step between the 2axel and 3toe on the combinations too.

  • Harding really got lucky here. I think as a matter of general skating ability they were right to send her instead of Ervin but technically Ervin should have beat Harding here.

  • @HattieLovesCattie she lives in Buffalo NY now, and she teaches at the Amherst Skating Club ppls. WHICH IS MEH!!!!!!! she doesn't teach me but i see her every week like 2 or 3 times teaching her students :P
