@mchezomc NY Notaries can notarize anywhere in NY State. If you have documents from Illinois and are in NY state, a NY notary can notarize them, but the venue (part of the document that says, "State of... County of..." would have to be changed to reflect where the document was notarized. They cannot notarize a document for you without you personally appearing before them, and they cannot travel to Illinois to notarize documents for you there.
