Wow... that is all just window dressing (pardon the pun) So you can flip your desktop, whooooooo, why not just minimize and maximize your different windows as you need them?... and it looks all wavy when you minimize. Sweet.

Anyway, if that OS had any good features Microsoft would have copied them by now.

My WiFi works too - even the hardware switch to turn it on and off works. I use WiFi when I'm in Uni buildings (lectures classes etc) and Ethernet back at my room in my halls.

I now have a Mabook as well so will be using my Mac for when I move around as it's smaller and the battery life is considerably longer than my Acer.

it looks like u've an acer aspire 5630, coz i've the exact same specs on my acer, the only thing is in Ireland our leading ISP Eircom doesn't support linux, *shakes fist*

I actually have a 5672WLMi-166 (that's the full model number) and I'm using Linux with my 'net connection over LAN at Uni.

one question...you're using fglrx or radeon open-sourced drivers?I can't have 3d acceleration in xgl(it opens gdm what I think have the 3d acceleration and then the xgl new session doesn't have it :/)(just ubuntu not xubuntu)

I'm using FGLRX drivers, I get Direct Rendering (although not when XGL and Beryl are running as they use that, but when I'm in a normal KDE session I get it)

How you make all the windows appear minimized in the screen? Is is with key combo or mouse? Cause when i try to zoom moving cursor to a corner the zoom is very small.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, do you mean when all the windows re-size and move to a single screen so you can select what one you want?  If so then that's F8.
