@nyogrson1 - look at the right side, middle palette window... which is the layers window.... every color I put down has it's own layer.... the top layer is the black line... so everytime I draw a color or shade of the color, it is layered under the black line layer... see more detailed video's at my domainsite... georgepetergatsis • org
hasn't anyone ever told you: "never look a gift horse in the mouth?" AKA: "he didn't have to upload anything, and at least he doesn't suck at drawing, so be happy you got this much."
i enjoy these videos just because of the chance to compare other peoples processes to my own. Ive learned tons from videos with no narration, and Ive drawn endless inspiration from them as well.
REALLY helpful "tutorial" I mean.. c'mon! You said nothing and did a freaking speed shit on it.. and I'm suppossed to follow your "how to"?! Next time you do a "How to" don't put a speed painting video on it.
for coloring, Photoshop can't be beat, but for smoother, cleaner inks, try Manga Studio. At least give the MS 3.0EX demo a whirl. Inking with PS just isn't efficient. Kinda like how color tweaking in Painter is equally inefficient. Keep up the good work.
how do u stop the colour from going over the lines

i love how these videos hardly ever tell you what program is used.

Me too. Isn't it great?

It's Photoshop. It's only the prog used by 99% of artists to ink and color artwork digitally...

actually this is not done in PHOTOSHOP... it is done in ILLUSTRATOR...

Sorry, I've never used Illustrator. The workflow is similar to PS (as expected).
