I own a platstation and I respect what Sony has done for the gaming industry but.. Sony just doesn't get it. Sony wants to sell us technology that no one asked for. Just give us a unique experience and good games. There is nothing unique about the vita. Its too expensive. Sony is just too arrogant.

Let's be real here, Sony's stock has dropped 50% ever since Howard Stringer became CEO. That being said I'm not blaming him 100% cause there are some thing he couldn't control: earthquake in Japan, PSN outage, etc. In April he will be replaced by someone with someone who understands current and future market trends, and be able to cast vision for capitalizing on the ever-changing playing field that Sony is part of.
from what ive seen and heard, the zelda HD will be nothing compared to what it can truly do, so i doubt it will be caught up, its more like, giving the people what they want, then going beyond that lol
and i dont think the graphics jump from this gen (or from ps4/720 depending on how you see it) will be that big, unless you want to pay $70 a game and probably kill sony while your at it lol

@TheMarkz0ne just basing it on experience, when i had an iphone it was secure, reliable feature wise not so great but backed up by great app support. i got an android now and its great and has a lot of features but after a while it just gets old, a very open OS but lacked security, and depending on the phone reliability can be terrible. apple does the basics right and even though its a closed system software is pretty good.
@TheMarkz0ne cant say much about the max osx because i spent most of my life building and gaming on PC (which would make macs useless to me) however apple would only make sony a better company take the ps3 for example (which is already a closed system) apple would take the OS and put in a user friendly quick and reliable OS of their own and i would imagine their would be tons of app support alone that would give features that Microsoft has and then some.

I want Sony to go back to the PS1 &2 days when their products were not only affordable, but had a vast library of great games. Not the games part really isn't Sony's fault, because most games this gen are either generic, sequels, or just plain bad, for all consoles.
But the afford products part is what Sony is fucking up on. Why would you put that much hardware into the PS3? I understand the 10 year thing. But lets face it Nintendo is going to keep interrupting that plan, So find away around.
Oh and the PS1 came out in the US sept. 1995. I remember because the Saturn was supposed to launch at the same time but Sega screwed their 3rd party devs by trying to trump Sony and released it in May instead, announcing it the DAY the systems hit the shelves. I remember I was in EPCOT, and they had one running in Innoventions, and had a Sega rep there. I said "When's this thing come out?" and he said "They hit stores today." Had one in the car on the way home XD
Yeah. I remember sometime in 2010 Kaz or Tretton saying that the PS3 has made up the loss and was making money. It was a few months after the slim came out I believe. One of the big reasons the TV divisions in trouble is because Sony pushed 3D tvs hard, and itjust hasn't taken off, and even worse for them because other company's 3DTVs are doing better than theirs. Mine's a Mitsubishi 73 inch. Watched Lion King in 3d last night. Awesome.

I am afraid Samsung has already taken over Sony in the electronics market. There are too many indications of it, especially the NET profits and Total Revenue being a lot higher than Sony. It's a darn shame, because Sony had such a major impact on the electronics industry with really optimising their hardware. Such great quality products, yet such bad economic decisions. They have become very over ambitious over the years.

All of my excellent Nintendo games are from the N64 or gamecube era. Have you played dark souls, metal gear solid 4 GOW3, infamous 1 and 2 and others i can't fit into this box. Mario Galaxy 2, though enjoyable was by no means Super Mario 3. Sure I wasn't born then. But I have played and beat it.

Let's be real here, Sony's stock has dropped 50% ever since Howard Stringer became CEO. That being said I'm not blaming him 100% cause there are some thing he couldn't control: earthquake in Japan, PSN outage, etc. In April he will be replaced by someone with someone who understands current and future market trends, and be able to cast vision for capitalizing on the ever-changing playing field that Sony is part of.

@TheMarkz0ne just basing it on experience, when i had an iphone it was secure, reliable feature wise not so great but backed up by great app support. i got an android now and its great and has a lot of features but after a while it just gets old, a very open OS but lacked security, and depending on the phone reliability can be terrible. apple does the basics right and even though its a closed system software is pretty good.

@TheMarkz0ne cant say much about the max osx because i spent most of my life building and gaming on PC (which would make macs useless to me) however apple would only make sony a better company take the ps3 for example (which is already a closed system) apple would take the OS and put in a user friendly quick and reliable OS of their own and i would imagine their would be tons of app support alone that would give features that Microsoft has and then some.

I want Sony to go back to the PS1 &2 days when their products were not only affordable, but had a vast library of great games. Not the games part really isn't Sony's fault, because most games this gen are either generic, sequels, or just plain bad, for all consoles.
But the afford products part is what Sony is fucking up on. Why would you put that much hardware into the PS3? I understand the 10 year thing. But lets face it Nintendo is going to keep interrupting that plan, So find away around.

I remember because the Saturn was supposed to launch at the same time but Sega screwed their 3rd party devs by trying to trump Sony and released it in May instead, announcing it the DAY the systems hit the shelves. I remember I was in EPCOT, and they had one running in Innoventions, and had a Sega rep there. I said "When's this thing come out?" and he said "They hit stores today." Yeah. I remember sometime in 2010 Kaz or Tretton saying that the PS3 has made up the loss and was making money. It was a few months after the slim came out I believe. One of the big reasons the TV divisions in trouble is because Sony pushed 3D tvs hard, and itjust hasn't taken off, and even worse for them because other company's 3DTVs are doing better than theirs. Mine's a Mitsubishi 73 inch. Watched Lion King in 3d last night. Awesome.

I am afraid Samsung has already taken over Sony in the electronics market. There are too many indications of it, especially the NET profits and Total Revenue being a lot higher than Sony. It's a darn shame, because Sony had such a major impact on the electronics industry with really optimising their hardware. Such great quality products, yet such bad economic decisions. All of my excellent Nintendo games are from the N64 or gamecube era. Have you played dark souls, metal gear solid 4 GOW3, infamous 1 and 2 and others i can't fit into this box. Mario Galaxy 2, though enjoyable was by no means Super Mario 3. Sure I wasn't born then. But I have played and beat it.

@TheMarkz0ne iv played all but dark souls. fire emblem, donkey kong, sin and punishment, punch out, skyward sword, some hard games on the wii. infamous 1 and 2 was boring, ill give you gow3 and mgs 4 but i cant go back to playing story mode after playing mgo 600 + hours. if you can beat fire emblem radiant dawn on hard mode with no one dieing then come back to me, that will make you go back to playing your "hard" games on ps3

I hope hardcore fans get it because next gen it's the wii-u versus xbox720 and I think the wii-u will get the hardcore market aong with the casual market so I think that the wii-u will succeed big time.

Bullshit it has better graphics the demos they were showing at e3 were sony games and xbox games those weren't the wii-u games or the graphics it can hold not even close.

Darkcloud1983. Yeah xbox is milking the casual market with kinect. But I never wish any companies death i'm not like that but I just think its pretty bull crap that Sony copies nintendo. Example playstation move and there reports of them making a super smash bros game but with sony characters that stuff gets me mad.

If they do get out of the gaming market, someone else will take their place; probably Apple. I hope that doesn't happen though. Sony pushes the envelope on the tech side more than Microsoft and Nintendo. They just have to get more creative with their marketing. I mean, besides hardcore gamers, who is gonna buy a Vita? I think it would have done a lot better if it was marketed as a phone/gaming console hybrid. I know they have that Xperia play, but the hardware is wack. Nobody wants it.

You know whats funny when the wii-u comes out the ps3 is going to be the one in the dust Sony already stated that there sticking with a 10 year life cycle for ps3 and to me thats a horrible idea because by the time the ps4 comes out then nintendo will already be working on a new console lol.
