Hey man, nice sound. You can use whatever you choose because regardless of what any less capable critics choose to condemn I would still be willing to pay you to make my stage performances sound well.
Thanks for your support and critics. You def don't need RC Booster and BMC for this bass, and I've done many gigs without using any pedals. However, 1) those pedals are very useful on a passive bass (which I didn't use on this video) since you will have more control on different frequencies, 2) even if you use a great active bass, you can always dial different tones on your pedals (for slapping, or soloing, ...) and it's easier to step on the pedals than messing with your knobs.
All I want to know is why you guys would criticise the effect choice of a guy who can play better than you. He is bringing out the harmonics he wants to bring out. It's called being an individual. He doesn't need you to tell him how to do that. Moreover, every device is different and even though the maker strives for a certain effect, it doesn't mean that they achieve it. So just admit that you are jealous of his skill and stop staining the guy's page with your greasy mitts.
Much respect and love to my bass bro Patrick Andy. @Kawi9893 As far as the pedals are concerned they're really not necessary. They're more useful for recordings. Funny comment about Fodera prices but hey to each his own. if you want one and can afford it than go for it.
ok here's my question with a bass like that and a nice amp y would u need all those affects? you should be able to dial some nice mids, bass, etc now if you wanted wow wow pedal or affects that have sounds you just can't produce like delay pedal or octave booster. but with a bass that cost more than my car makes you go umm!!

Yea, why do you need a $69.00 pedal to make a fodera sound good?
