  • Popular vote should not only determine the elected president, but also the primaries . . . and the vote should be simultainious from coast to coast, so that there are no results from early-vote states that could potentially influence the outcome.

  • Congress is looking for an excuse to abolish this system in favor of the Popular Vote, because it would mean that only 7 or 8 States would be needed to win an election.

    The Electoral College was created as a means to defeat that - by balancing the votes of States differing by population, wealth and political influences.

    There is a real problem with the Electoral College, yet it could be easily fixed by simply creating limits to the number of Representatives for each State.

  • Again..  That candidate must get 100% of the vote in those states. Improbable..

  • Youre acting like States are the ones we need to represent not people.

    You're dead wrong. This is why we have the problem in the first place.
