really sorry.. just one question! i have a z4 coupé 3.0 and the speed limit on BMW cars is setted at 250 Km/h. also in my car istruments show something like 255... so I suppose that BMW made a special rule only for your car because it's you!! :D

You must remember that the only way it is limited is by a setting of the onboard computer.

It is fairly easy for a BMW dealer or mechanic to remove the speed limit.

Furthermore this speed limit blockade works by shutting of the fuel to the engine until you get below 250, the fact however is that the engines today often (though the limit is 250) runs 255 and even 265 before it effectively cuts down in speed.
