I'm not even a sports fan, and this was inspiring. I think most Americans would like to see some good come to the Iraqi people after all they've endured. Thanks to Rachel and all for this chance to engage our better angels.
Yeah this is pretty cool. I love the sport of baseball its an amazing game but it does take a lot of equipment to get a full team going and I'm glad that companies stepped out. Ofcourse they did it for publicity but its still a mutual win win situation and fact is that now these guys can set the precedent in bringing such an inspirational game to their country and region
It`s simple gestures like this that can make such a difference. Okay we can see it cynically and assume these companies only did it for product placement, but they still did it.
Well done and be proud.
Still it`s a shame the Iraqis will never get the chance to play in the so called "World Series" ;-)
Actually, we offered to do it right away before there was any idea that we would get publicity (not that we're complaining), but we would have done it regardless...EFF
What did they have to cut off? Sorry.. it doesn't look like your comment is a reply (comment tree-wise). Her in the blue top? Its on another youtube clip (bad quality though) and my podcast (how I usually watch the show)

Unfortunately they had cut that off from the online version of her show, so maybe that's why it's not here.

I'm sure all these companies acted on pure altruism with zero intention of getting their names and products mentioned on TV...
