Seriously themaxrider, it's not about what's the best, it's about owning the Vmax. THE VMAX!!! The new '09 is my 2nd one, and if they pop out a 3rd gen in 2033, and I can still walk, I'll buy that baby too!!! Long live the Vmax.
I hate to rain on your parade, but you would be much happier on a B-King. The King is so damn much fun to ride, and nimble along with being a naked Busa, did I mention its a naked Busa? I owned a Vmax for 13 years and after riding the B-King, that my friend is the answer to the old Vmax and the new. Yes the Max is nice looking but that is where it ends. Too bad Yamaha has its head up its ass and didn't drop 100lbs rather then increase it. There are too many faults with this bike to name!
agreed the old max is not up to much but the new one is the best muscle bike available. i have riden both and now own the max, the king was not event a consideration after the comparison ride!
Ahh, this is the day I'm waiting for. My 2010 VMax doesn't turn up for another 2 or so weeks!
