  • I love Mushi-Shi! This is one of my favorite episodes. Sadly, there is no chance for a another season unless the author, Yuki Urushibara, picks it up again and starts writing more. :(

  • my god its Oriheme.. * insta hate out of sheer spite *

  • Well now I know how he always gets his letters.

  • Given the situation, what would even be the point of having windows and doors? Just get rid of them and leave the space empty.

  • Hey, it had a happy ending ...

WHAT THE HECK, MUSHI-SHI. THIS NEVER HAPPENS.

  • @EvilEmoCupcakes

I saw it as more of a bittersweet ending. Yeah, Ito gets out, but the narrator says it was "several years later." Aya could have been very old or even have passed on by that point.

  • @EvilEmoCupcakes no you just have to use you head ann think of the so meant possabilitys of what could of happened even if the narrator/woman says something she only gives one possibility its an anime story you can make up a differint ending -_- but thats just what i do so i dont cry my eyes out all the time ^_^

  • So THAT's how Ginko get's his mail!!!

  • Got it, how he gets letters fully explained now!! :)

  • so how much time later did she come back??

  • I would have just left a door closed in my house at all times, so those Mushi would open up a tonne of passage ways there, so the girl could find her way through.

  • IM TOO SCARED TO OPEN MY DOOR

  • @MrBlackMan212 I'm improvising; from now on, all rooms will have an open window.

  • OMG!!!!!! I loved this episode! I thought it was so nice how they got back together in the end! I almost wanted to cry!!!!!

  • This anime has an odd way of bring in an audience. i usually watch anime's like Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, or even Ouran High School Host Club, but this anime is NOTHING like those. Even though the episodes are a little repetitive, it's strangely addicting. This anime has landed itself into my top 5 anime's i can watch over and over, and still be amazed :)

  • One of my favorite episodes.

  • i love the ending!

  • Sweet apply new mailbox to everyday life... good bye face book twitter and the rest good bye mobile phone you can send whatever through there.... love this anime.. Go shopping send thru box and it is in your house sweet... Priceless cost of box 3million ...lmao

  • @lovelyjueal but wouldn't you risk getting your soul taken away and wander aimlessly through a cave? I don't think facebook or twitter does that......

  • @Chihotaru well long as u follow rules u have no issue

  • @lovelyjueal yep, no one is taking my soul.

  • theres always using door stoppers so u cant accedentelly close a door

  • So that's how Ginko gets his letters... who would have guessed =P =D x

  • With a risk like that I would have dropkicked every door in the house the second I learned about the risk. Fuck it, so itl be a little drafty every once in a while...

    better than the alternative.

  • i really would like to know why this anime is sooo addicting...this isnt my normal type of anime...

  • Aya plays Dante in fullmetal

  • I wish I was a mushi master....

  • Well finally a truly happy ending.

  • why does he even have doors in he first place if he knows hes dealing with that sort of mushi

  • @vargasma1 If all it took was a blanket to make Ito disappear, having doors or not wouldn't matter; you'd have to remove anything that can cover anything else up. Impossible.

  • the e-mail of edo Japan: silk cocoons.

  • I'm half-way through and I know one kid won't listen. I wonder if they've ever lost an apprentice or even a master to a mistake.

  • that explains how he can contact people when hes constantly traveling

  • Well... now we know how he gets his letters when he travels. xD

  • @MrParadoZia I'm not sure how to answer your question but , same way they did the first season?

  • Yay Happy ending! <3

  • Haha, hoped that one day she would find her way out, but she also knew that she would lose her memories. I guess that's why she decided to write down the name of her village! Genius!

  • Well this explains how Ginko gets his mail.

  • Ohhh, so that's how Ginko gets his letters. (y) Clever.

  • Ji-sama= grampa in japanese, i don't know why they call him ji-sama instead of just saying grampa in english!

  • Why have doors?

  • in the end it weird that how did she know 2 follow the chain?

  • @bl865ood maybe because the letter Aya sent told her to, it makes the most sense, after finding out that the chain leads to the outside world

  • So that's how he gets his mail...

  • I have a twin myself, so this episode was really sad, till the ending. I love that Aya's letter actually reached Ito, and that they reunited in the end.

  • i love this ep!!!

  • Oh! So that's how Ginko gets letters!

  • whoa she came back i wonder if she saw her sister again

  • i hope so!!!

  • so do i ^^

  • but she kind of move outside the village but if she even hred a rumore i think she would have gone to see and dont froget she probly has to go shoping too. so the chanes is like 3/4 of seeing her sis

  • yeah but thats still pretty high

  • so it is most likey that she'll she her sis

  • yeah i thinkso

  • i hope so thanks for chating with me!!!!

  • no problem

  • thanks still

  • it most likely ^._._.^

  • dats cool it looks like a bat u Derserve a wink *winks* ^_-

  • I lied. This has to be my favorite episode so far. It actually ended well!

  • Wow cool she got home. And by the way to anyone that beleave's remember one strong word it may save your life.-Release- the word is release you will be surprised what one word can do.

  • the mushis frame of time must b very slow for her 2 still be about 10years old after several years

  • Oh will you crazy people stop it.

Holding hands are meant for people who love each other.

    Sexual or not.

    Conclusion solved.

  • You know they're girls, right?

  • wow i would've thought a portal like that was too small!

  • Seems interesting. One of the letters sent to her sister reached her. She may have lost all her memories, so I wouldn't call the ending totally happy, yet she can make new memories, so it's happy enough considering the nature of the series.

  • happy ending? how about wonderful? if they were all like this the show would never end. but then it would get boring.

  • yay! happy ending!

  • LOL everyone in this anime looks almost the same

but i still like it and i also think is bullshit it's canceled

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah seriously, everyone but Ginko and the occasional villager looks the same. xD

  • everybody are fucking twins LOL

  • Canceled? What do you mean? o_o

  • Canceled? I thought it was only supposed to air for 26 episodes. It was never planned to go past that amount. However, it would be nice if they made one more season to finish up the rest of the stories from the manga (which is now finished if I'm not mistaken).

  • @rodyrodyrody1 It didn't get cancelled, it just ended!

  • @TheNegativeAlchemist I realized that later on xD I still think it could of gone further

  • Well, I dunno. It's pretty common for young Japanese siblings to hold hands, especially back then.

  • I think they were trying to show how close they were, and that they had a strong bond with each other.

  • um... whats wrong with holding hands... u got a real disturbing mind.

  • I agree with you, there's nothing wrong with holding hads! Specially between brothers!

  • ppl got sum wrong ideas when they think of ppl holding hands... real disturbing and sick minded folks. u think they gonna have sexual feeling for each other or something when two kids hold each others hands? lol that makes u a pedophile. whats wrong with society nowadays...

  • What's wrong with you why do you say that stuff to me? I was only agreeing with what you said!!! I said there's nothing wrong with holding hands!!!

  • lmao, he was replying to notcolucky haha.

  • Paedophilia has been widespread throughout the ages.

It has even accepted as normal by most cultures at one time or another.

  • First the doctor, now this girl. Ginko has the coolest friends.

  • there isn't another season this anime barely lasted a year due to it being a short story anime and lacking a plot. its been cancelled for 3 years now

  • =( that's too bad i like this anime

  • yea looking at the views from it...this anime isn't getting the respect it deserves

  • people just don't understand what this anime is trying to tell others. It's not about action or some strange crime but about life. However, I guess most people don't really care about reasons of life.

  • @clearwater04 It wasn't cancelled!!! It just ended!!!

  • wow i love this animation once a box set comes out i'm buying it for sure. And i hope there is another season or even a movie , because thats how great it is.

  • a movie came out for it in '06

it just revolves around certain chapters/episodes, like the horns one, the rainbow man, etc

  • @prosp3ct2 there actually IS a movie that came out. it's live action and basically a condensed version of the series with a bit of a different ending.

  • @reverendbug with my fave japanese actor playing ginko :D
