It's Mikhail Ryabko. Not Mikal Rabko or whatever. I think this guy does not even half understand nor appreciate the honor to walk side to side with Mikhail Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev.
Ummmm combined the local martial arts to make systema... i would say the took the principles of Aiki, and took the tradition out of it...And more like they started working with it in the 70's
How would you know? Looking at your channel and the comments, I would say that you have been wrong enough already, do some research, Systema predates Aikido by more than Nine hundred and twenty years (920) years! It is not a Martial Art it is a Methodology that develops attributes. LOL!
I must agree with geiki about the facts but i must say that fightingthebs was talking about aiki principal not aikido. Aiki thinking is from aikijutsu that predates systemas roots with more than a thousand (1000) years.
I must say that systema is very different from aiki, they have no form or certain techniques wich makes it more effective.
what kind of martial arts should i take if i am interested in this stuff? self defense and pressure point related martial arts. i want to start learning
Systema is incredible. The way Vladimir outmanoeuvred and beat those men looked so organic and flowing. It's amazing. The fact that breathing and relaxation are emphasized and that there are no strict forms for this art is truly a stroke of genius
systema must be a very functional art. The best arts around are the ones that look harmless but do bad damage. The fact that systema teaches breathing and relaxation means it must be an advanced art.
This is awesome and I'm sending this to all my friends. We aren't interested in just fighting, but to survive attacks. You see, we are all disabled to some extent or degree. We are easy targets for the thugs of America. Yhank you so much. This is sooooo interesting.
well yes and no yes it is relaxed and there is a lot of deception, and no there are no kata and mainly principles! rather than technique, it works very well and you grow quick!, there is a lot of misunderstanding about sysema especially on the web, Trev
give me the time on the vid; the main difference is it works even if you are bad at it! that doesn't work with Japanese arts! also you work on the person taking away the things that get in the way of being good, rather than adding things like techniques,
hey very nice vid trev i love that other one you sent me as well Today we think very much alike WE ARE ALL ONE shame many others haven't relised it yet hey you sent me the ending of zeitgeist because you knew i'd go to the beginning and watch it from the start haha like your techniques Mate sneaky
really fun to train in! I trained in it for a little bit but found that school was hard to schedule with the local group so i went to focus on school. I will train again!
