i have 2 parakeets that I just got yesterday. They are almost used to me but not quite yet... their names are Ricky and Dusk, I love parakeets! They are so adorabLe! Yours is well taken care of.
I love it when budgies run from side to side along their perch- I think it's a sign of excitement. My own budgies used to do that years ago and I'd almost forgotten about that until I saw this vid. Nice bird you've got there:)
Plus, our budgie is the same color as yours! :D Only it's name is Bart! :)

The original name for them is budgerigar or budgie, the name originating from the aboriginies(Australia) but in America they are called parakeets : )
