Yankee Stadium only ballpark named after its team? Don't think so. The park in Baltimore is actually ORIOLE PARK at Camden Yards. Dodger Stadium, too.
You dont have miller park! y dont you have miller park? it is like the most modern it gets, the coolest. way cooler than wrigley! what is so cool about wrigley or the astrodome? i dont get it you idiot
The topic was the top ten. I guess exactly what "top" means has to be clarified. In terms of beauty PNC is tops in my book. I didn't think the topic was the one with the most history.
@emm28bee Well sometimes history can have a huge effect on how teams played. How many teams do you think walked out onto the court (or rink) in Boston Garden and saw that many pennants, and knew that so fe teams won game 7s in that building, or an NBA final.
Fenway's history has told how hard it gets sometimes to play there...the Green Monster (of which many stadiums have tried to copy) or right field where you can't see anything in late September.
Shea Stadium cuz of the Beatles :D I hope they get the Astrodome up and running again, Astros all the way :D at least until they aren't at the bottom of the entire MLB -_-
@tommoore2012 That's because it was desgined to take unique parts of many different ballparks. However, I don't like it because those different parts combined don't make the stadium that appealing, especially the copy of Tiger Stadium in a relatively new ballpark.
@TheRico5538 well at least we made the playoffs every year in the last 5 years and 2 pennants and a WS what did the braves do o a wild card title WOW so amazing
@ThePhilliesforlife The braves have always been great.......no team in the history of sports have ever....ever...EVER!!!!!!!!....won their division 14 years in a row.....not the yankees... not the celtics...not the patriots....AND NOT YOUR MIGHTY PHILLIES....and i bet the braves are gona get upton....hes smart enough to realize the stuidity of u retarted phillie fans
@TheRico5538 The Braves I admit were the team of the 90s were talkin bout now how we are in first and even through all the injuries last year we still had the best record. And at least people show up to our games wer sould out every game Turner field is always empty
@TheRico5538 o so because our team is actually good and has the best record means people from philly have no life wow someone is cranky that their team is 6 games back
@ThePhilliesforlife We are 6 games back....But just wait until the NLCS when the braves sweep the phillies......and btw, this is the schedule for a phillie fan
Wake up
Go to sleep
Eat a phillie cheese sandwhich
AND REPEAT.......SOOOOOO...YA PHILLIES HAVE NO LIFE
@TheRico5538 Fine I will wait for the Phillies to sweep the Braves and win yet another WS in the past 5 years. Our fans r diehard we sell out every game for the past 5 years. in atlanta no one is even there it is so empty. BTW I eat about 5 cheesesteaks a year. and yer best insult is that our cheesesteaks are good thats a compliment you are officially a dumbass sir.
Check out "Target Field" I absolutely HATE that name so I have my own name for it. I call it Killebrew Park in honor of the Twin of all Minnesota Twins. R.I.P. Harmon...
this list actually sucks dick. These are terrible. The astro dome. Are you kidding me one of the worst stadiums in the league which is why it got replaced. Shea stadium is trash as well. Camden yards is good, but where is AT&T park. The only good picks are are PNC, Camden Yards, Coors Field, and Fenway. retire from youtube please.
this list is stupid, you have no reasoning behind 8 of these stadiums. Astrodome isn't that much of a classic, safeco is just new so it looks nicer, PNC isn't that great either. If you wanted real stadiums you should have said Polo Grounds, that has more history and true landmarks and accomplishments than every ballparck on that list besides yankee stadium, wrigley and fenway
Why isn't AT&T/SBC/Pacific Bell Park there? I mean, that Giant Coca-Cola (no pun intended) bottle is a childrens slide, and who doesn't love the view of the docks of West Oakland at night?
Man, a ton of great stadiums here. Especially Wrigley and Fenway, I hope they never tear those down, one day I hope to go see a game in each. AT&T Park and Dodger Stadium should be on here, but everyone has their preferences. Go Cardinals! (Even though I live near Cleveland. Jacob's Field will always be it's name, no matter what.)
Wrigley field is #1 because its classic. It goes beyonf baseball. Wrigley Field can be considered a freaken national monument for christ sake! There have been millions upon millions of bucket lists that include "See a baseball game at Wrigley Field". So you see why Wrigley is #1 folks?
I'm a Giants fan by the way. A little upset AT&T park isn't here but complete agree that all of these parks (except Shae and Astrodome) deserve consideration.
I thik that Puerto Rico has better Park then Wrigley, but its ok wit me cause I used to live in Chicago, i KnOW U DID IT CAUSE ITS A CLASSIC. Al though Comiskey Park ist better, than Wrigley. WRITE
are you sure this isnt the bottom 10? wrigley field sucks. its so friggin small, and do they even have toilets there yet? and how bout that one exit? ya know the ONLY exit of the ENTIRE ballpark? PIECE OF SHIT. you cant even sit and enjoy the game because you have beer being spilled on you from the person behind.
finally a Top Baseball stadium list with the Jake somewhere in it. i was pissed when the name changed cuz i grew up calling it "The Jake" now we gotta call it
"the Prog" or something...its notas catchy as "The Jake"
this list is dumb as hell... I agree with wrigley, then fenway (of coarse yankee stadium, astrodome, shea {blah!} are gone now), but whats the reasons for the others? baltimore, yes, pittsburgh, eh OK, but where's dodger stadium? gotta be there... what history at Jacobs?... safeco, which of the new convertable domes is that one? who cares... maybe: 1.Wrigley 2.Fenway 3.Dodger 4.Baltimore 5.NewYankee 6.KansasCity 7.Arlington 8.Milwaukee 9.Toronto 10. TIE: Pitt, SanFran, Denver, Cincinnati
the mets have CITI FIELD NOW...Shea had history but it was a dump. Yanks have a new stadium also...Godforbid they knock down wrigley and fenway..Ill be pissed off
fenway should be number 1, yankee stadium should be number 2, Wrigley number 3, Old Tiger Stadium should be number 4. why the fuck is wrigley number one?? what the fuck
A Top 10 list is hard but you can have a very legitimate one based on fan friendlyness, history and scenary/architecture but you cannot make this list without going to every single park, simply googling images and choosing the ones you like is not the way.
I think SF has a nice one, Camden yards is amazing, Coors Field is nice, The Texas Rangers also have a good one, Jacobs field is a personal fav along with PNC park but the Pirates take away from that experience
this is a no brainer Oriole park is the greatest fan friendly ball park in the country . it also set the bar for all these copycat stadiums that were probaly made in china watch out for the o's in 2010!
Yankees Stadium is not the only stadium with it's team name. There is Dodger Stadium, Angels Stadium of Anaheim, Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, and Nationals Park.
Petco Park is the greatest stadium in the world. Every seat is a great seat. There is a metal building in the stadium that was not torn down that is still there. It looks so cool. And the park in the park is the best. Even when there are no games, you can walk through the park in the park, enjoying a look at the inside of the stadium, the park's nice grass, and the statue of Tony Gwynn.
All I can say about Shea is good riddance. I rate Fenway over Wrigley because it is older and has more irregular angles. You missed Dodger Stadium, the only one of its era to stand the test of time.
Im from denver Coors field is Beautiful! believe me. 1. Safeco 2. Minute Maid (Enron) 3. Miller 4. Chase( bank one) 5. Coors 6. Progressive ( Jacobs) 7. Petco 8. PNC 9. Fenway 10. Citi ( new shea)
i think the grass in at&t is amazing. one of the best grasses in the mlb. i disagree with u about coors field cuz i just think its kinda boring. i personally feel that at&t is the best balll park and i just think coors field is ugly but i can see from ur standpoint of liking coors.
im sure the grass is green but it never has a mow pattern, & the bullpens r in play, but how can u say at&t is the best, even i hav2 admit that the retractible roof parks r amazing
are you serious? they play in the worst stadium in baseball. It's meant for football, anyway, that's why left field is really short and right field is really long.
dude! at&t park is the best ballpark in the mlb hands down!! astrodome? are u high?! it would make one of the ugliest stadiums ever! coors? seriouslY?! it should go at&t, camdens, pnc, wrigley, yankees stadium, wrigley, fenway (serioulsy, not a very attractive ballpark if u think about it only the green moster is cool), jacobs, busche, and arizona (i mean come on man, its got a pool)!
at&T has the most features in any ballpark, is rite on the bay, and the best archetecture and entrance. It has unbelievable grass. I cant stand "dome ball" its just real ugly
petco park??

i think the grass in at&t is amazing. one of the best grasses in the mlb. i disagree with u about coors field cuz i just think its kinda boring. i personally feel that at&t is the best balll park and i just think coors field is ugly but i can see from ur standpoint of liking coors.
clemsonkid2121 2 years ago
im sure the grass is green but it never has a mow pattern, & the bullpens r in play, but how can u say at&t is the best, even i hav2 admit that the retractible roof parks r amazing

i say the marlins stadium should be number one even though i like the yankees
duffy7zrf 2 years ago
are you serious? they play in the worst stadium in baseball. It's meant for football, anyway, that's why left field is really short and right field is really long.
YANKEEBOY114 2 years ago
Really? They play in a friggin box tho... Its meant for football.

dude! at&t park is the best ballpark in the mlb hands down!! astrodome? are u high?! it would make one of the ugliest stadiums ever! coors? seriouslY?! it should go at&t, camdens, pnc, wrigley, yankees stadium, wrigley, fenway (serioulsy, not a very attractive ballpark if u think about it only the green moster is cool), jacobs, busche, and arizona (i mean come on man, its got a pool)!
clemsonkid2121 2 years ago
whats wrong with u Coors field is Amazing, At&t is alright but the grass looks horrible!
pallknowing1 2 years ago
at&T has the most features in any ballpark, is rite on the bay, and the best archetecture and entrance. It has unbelievable grass. I cant stand "dome ball" its just real ugly
clemsonkid2121 2 years ago
