I think I'm a good, solid, ABC player. I play live 1/2 cash games. There's a few guys who CONSISTANTLY win atleast $800 per session it seems. They always have huge stacks. I once asked one of them what their secret is. He simply stated - "Aggression." I hate playing against players who play almost every hand regardless of the pre-flop raise, and call you down no matter what, etc. To me, this is ghetto poker. What is your advice to a conservative ABC guy to win?
@uAfooLOL - I would love to be a consistant and profitable player, and I know I'm VERY close. I'm still learning. Am I wrong? Is it impossible to be a consistant winner playing ABC? When I say "ABC," I mean don't call a pre-flop raise of 10X with J8 off even if you're the button. When I say "ABC," get the fuck out of a hand if you don't hit the flop if someone is betting into you, 1 more caller and you missed! Someone help!
@uAfooLOL - Sorry to monopolize your board, but I'm very curious to hear what you and others have to say. Actually, one of the dealers told me, "You need to be playing 2/5...stay away from 1/2." Then he said...the strange thing is that 5/10(which is the max game at my casino) is worse than 1/2! LOL!!!
@uAfooLOL - Feel free to post any questions! Just be patient for me to respond :)
A lot of people say there is a relationship with skill level and table limits. That's partially true. Logic would tell you that if you are not profitable at 1/2, then you probably won't be at 2/5. There's good and bad players at all limits and that's because there's no short supply of idiots with money! If you can't beat them at 1/2, they'll still give you a hard time at 2/5.
@uAfooLOL - You can also try to practice Head' up SNGs - it will get you experience in playing in conditions where it's normal to bet and call pre-flop with pretty much any hand. The real game starts post flop, and it's frequently more of a mind game than a card game. When you get good at heads up, you'll probably be more confortable facing these kinds of players and beating them at their own game.
@mypokercorner - I greatly appreciate your reply. I'll definitely look into the heads-up SNG's. That's actually VERY good advice. I tend to fold too much and I think I've gotten pegged as a tight player who can get pushed around. BUT, when I actually call and even raise after the flop or turn...they definitely take notice. I think maybe I'm answering some of my own questions....? Thanks again.
@uAfooLOL - Sorry for the late response. You hate these players because they are difficult to read. They are almost too "random" and they confuse you. What I can tell you is that these guys are probably very easy to trap, and that's where you can really cripple them.
The players you describe are easilly defeated, altought they can be annoying as hell when they have a lot of chips! lol! But still, their overconfidence is their weakness.
@uAfooLOL - One player who knows me from playing in numerous sessions together, and who I actually happen to like and respect, told me - "You over-analyze everything....this is your problem."
How the hell can you not analyze? What's over-analyzing? HAHAHA! Anyway...thanks again for your advice. I'll definitely make good use of it. Thanks again.
this guy knows what the hell he's talking about, im a lil disappointed there's only 2 videos though. you should continue these videos and feed us knowledge thanks
Haha! Thanks for the vote of confidence. I want to do more videos. I have recorded many of my play sessions with the intention of creating some poker strategy videos. I'll get to it eventually, but I have been busy with other projects.
horrible sound quality, please sort it out if possible.

Very important info that you give away here. Exspecially the analogy with a story is a very good one to keep in mind.
I´ve used this over and over when playing myself ;)

I used to think that myself A LOT. And still, 90% of the time i agree that most "coaches" are complete crap.
But I beg to differ this time... using myself as an example. If you´re seriously interested why, read some of my articles
