@junerosie321 im a mother myself and im 19 so dont feel uncomfortable ask questions. Yes ur nipples do grow bigger and so does you breast because it provides milk. No u cannot breast feed im ur not pregnant. but u can breast feed if u were pregnant before and this is ur second child but other than that do not take the chances.
have you read all the advanategs to breat milk including stem cells and benefits to the mother in the long run , its amazing , bobble fed babies die young three times more often then breat fed babies, think of that, long term stuf in britian, might not be convenient all the time and have your gawkers but you know anything a person doesnt see everyday they will look at , including a car crash victim.
THANK YOU for this video im a first time mom and i thought with the brest pump that it dont suppose to take that long im still going at it your right its a slow process
I think that's cool the way her nipples produce the milk from right out of her breasts, those nipples sure did seem to pump out some milk, looked kind of neat watching her watch her nipples produce the milk, but good video to watch.
it is safe to the mother the pumps have settings on them that allow fo rthe mothe rto adjust the speed!! and many pumps now adays will create a suction that is not that diferent from the the way a baby nurses!! i have pumped and both pumps were comfortable!! and i ahve another one a medela this time!! they also have adapters that allow for larger or smaller nipples and soft massage adapters as well!! ans its not agains nature your still feeding the baby bre3ast milk and nurseing!!
OMG I have the same pump The Medela Pump N Style and I love it! I pump for my son who is 6 months cause he would never attach to my nipple so I continuestly pump into Bottles:) But Its so wroth it!
I couln't get my baby to breastfeed...I was 15 when i had her and had no idea on how to breastfeed even tough my mom told me how..i had to use the breast pump and it was a lot of work..but my baby girl had her milk one way or the other, now she's 22 months, healthy and strong =D
I am a bit puzzled as this video shows the milk storage in the freezer for 3 months and in the uk the doctors say it can stay for 6 months. Can anybody explain this please?
Our lactation consultant (in the US) said it can be stored in an individual freezer compartment connected to the fridge that is opened frequently for 2-3 months, but can last for 6-7 months in a deep freezer.
Great video.Nursing will get much easier w/ time!I'm still nursing my 25 month old& its the best experience Ive ever had!I work partime &still managed to nurse 100%!NO formula. My daughter already knows her abcs, how to count to 15,english & spanish! The doc says shes a VERY fast learner mostly due 2 breast milk =)Its the BEST feeling to hear her say"I LOVE MAMA MILKY" =)I suggest all moms search under " Healthcare reform & Edwina Froehlich "a video by lorex, very informative! Happy nursing!=)
Well, im a man, but, no they dont run out, you see they keep making milk as long as they are stimulated, by breast feeding, so if you have a baby one year, have the other three two, or one year after the first one stoped feeding, they can still be used and will lactate once again. Im not sure if im completly right, any woman know??
no. it works on a supply and demand system. The more you feed or pump, the more milk you will produce. If you stop feeding/pumping, you will stop producing.
no they don't run out... however each woman is different. Depending on where her supply is at, what time of day she is pumping, and other factors -- it could take 5 min to a long time to get 6oz when using an electric pump. Every woman is different when it comes to pumping.
For hand pumping - I like the advent pump that is ~40 bucks. However I really hate hand pumping and would highly recommend just renting a hospital pump. They get the job so much faster than even the expensive Medela Pump in styles. I used a PIS for a while and switched to a Medela Classic hospital pump because it was just so much faster (7-8min of pumping vs 20 min).
This was very helpful, especially since you the mother was using the medela pump. This is what I to will be using after my baby is born, to return to work. Thanks!! :)
could not have survived without this, its an essential for new mothers

how long does it take to get milk out of the breast?
cutepups1818 2 years ago
within the first 5 minutes it starts flowing. It can take anywhere from 15-45 minutes or longer to empty the breast. It's different for every woman.

I don't this is safe to mother. Because if you do things against nature you are affecting yourself and your baby.

just buy some freaking milk and put it in a bottle, damn.
dlux85 3 years ago
Yeah, you're right! Buy some milk and ignore the fact that it helps the baby grow physically, mentally, and stops hunger more easily!
Wow, I don't think you know the benefits.

babies are not cows. People who give formula have higher risk of ear infections in their children. And cows milk is not suitable.
1985? Why are looking into this? Past your bedtime.

I didn't know being almost 24 years old made you qualified to have a bedtime...strange.

These machines aren't cheap enough for everyone.
Hand-expressing into bottles can work as well,
AND can even be quicker for some. Womens' boobs
are ALL different. There is no simple way with
just a machine. Don't be afraid to ask for help
from anyone with experience.

the breasts continue to make milk as long as you keep breast feeding. If you stop, your breasts stop creating milk.
