how far down do you have your spinner plate and box from your funnel at the bottom. And did you buy the battery clips your self or did they come with it.
i use these but the lags are cheap. I use galvanized fence rail from home depot or take cordless drill to field and run self tapping screws thru the leg joints to hold them together. Also it MUST be anchored or staked to the ground or the hogs will destryor the feeder. I hammer rebar into ground and hose clamp or tie wrap the legs to secure. Happy hunting. Enjoy it now before Obama takes all our guns.
i dont really like the idea of feeders myself. it's unfair in a way. personally, i like to have to hunt them in their natural environment where we dont affect their behavior and routines. this makes it more fair to the deer.
well, theres a line that defines ethical and unethical. killing and predation is a part of nature,, that's why shooting/killing deer is ethical. but because we have such an edge over deer(guns) its so easy to kill an animal, the deer species has no chance. thats why theres a limit on how many deer. and we cross the ethical line when we change the deer's routine so its not a matter of IF we get them, but a matter of WHEN. the deer have better chance of suvival if we have to find them.
I agree. Unless you have a very low deer population in your particular area, feeding is not a good practice. Also you could set yourself up for a nasty confrontation with other hunters who either take advantage of your efforts to draw in deer or just plain old theft! If you take time to stake out a patch of woods for a few days before the season starts you'll learn where the deer are without I hate to say this but (cheating)! I dont mean to offend anyone, its just my opinion.
oh i totally get ya there man, in that baiting them takes deer out of their natural routine and conforms it to take them to you as oppsed to you having to take on the challenge of sneaking onto the deer's turf and being there when they are. as for confrontation. you are also right
we're not in the cold war anymore. I'm an american communist, but not an authoritarian, which is what i believe you are most against. I'm anti-authoritarian too. china really isn't communist anymore anyway, more authoritarian capitalist.

i hate buying thigs from china. Their products are usually extremely low quality.
antibean911 3 years ago 2
except for their guns. The guns they make are decent quality, but they are quite inexpensive....but then again, most of their stuff is pretty cheap
