Neal, thanks for posting this. I am a musician and about three weeks ago, I played for a funeral service in Dallas. They told me the grandson's wife from Houston was gonna sing. They said she won 2nd place on AGT but I never watched it. I have played for DOZENS of chick singers over the years, conducted bands symphonies, etc. She was nice, very kind and WHAT A VOICE! I looked her up tonight and found this. She is really a classy babe! I hope she goes far and I get to work with her again!

shes great but I noticed she tries to be humble about her talent but when someone gives her a complment she trys to take it but she almost looses it and crys when she sings ava marie one of my favorite songs. she does tear up at the compliments.

She actually IS very humble and often surprised when people enjoy her talent. I worked with her without knowing anything about her. I was blown away. But she was quiet, humble and very professional. She just opened her voice and sang the song, no stupid questions or fooling around like most chick singers...and I have worked with dozens over the past few decades. She is a true professioal. Her musical gift is amazing. Her humble spirit is very genuine!

Her story touches us all and yes Mr. Hoff there are Miracles out there just to answer your question. 12 people must have been hit in the head or something because there is no way any living thing can dislike this. Even my Yorkie hears her and jumps when he sees me getting excited for her. She is amazing and I hope all people learn to follow their dreams because they can come true. And yes Barbara like the Hoff said- Keep singing because your singing is healing a lot of people including myself :)

@carrotjuse I was fortunate enough to see her LIVE in San Angelo, TX a few weeks ago this past Oct 2nd. If you think she sounds good here online, wait until you see her in person! She's absolutely incredible in person!! She sang lots of Puccini arias(not this one).

@carrotjuse In case you are unaware of how this works, Barbara went through extensive training to sing like she does today. She paid thousands of dollars to attend the university which I now attend....and participated in numerous different operas and concerts and productions while there. The training underwent was extensive and difficult. She is beautiful, but her talent didn't come from nowhere.
