I believe that you can use all musical genres in worship, God gave us creativity to worship Him in many ways. I have friends, brothers and sisters in Christ who's views on this differs greatly. I am totally free in my worship and love for my Father God (whom I also call Daddy God and that sometimes offends some!) and am still researching to what all this is about. I have been many times drunk on His love and enjoyed the full Joy and ecstasy of the Holy Spirit, ...... cont'd .....
If you ask them I doubt they will say it is like a drug, they will tell you that the joy and love they feel is better than any drug you can imagine but one of the main groups they are looking to convert are drug addicts and rave'er types and it seems to be working. Trances are recorded throughout the bible as is being slain in the Spirt or falling out under God. Did not David say his worship would become more undignified, Saul stripped and prophesied? It's just a different style of worship.
No I in no way meant God would satisfy drug cravings I believe he can set you free from the chains of addiction. There are many scriptures about enjoying God. My frav is John 15:11 and John 17:13.
When I pray no matter how simple a prayer, I can pray 'Out Father', I will feel the presecens of God to some extent. I was never a drug addict and never learnt this behaviour. Do you not believe that God satsifies all desires?
Yes this type of worship is not for everyone but many who need the pleasures of God do find this helpful. Many have been set free from drugs and come to Christ so as far as the fruit goes it's fairly positive. Being slain in the spirt is nothing knew look at Saul on the road to Damascus, look at John the revelator and disciple. Trance's well look at Peter on the rooftop. My discerment deems this outrages and free but it is of God. Relax and check the fruit if your unsure.

It is one and the same Spirit,

These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages. Mark 16:17. New languages so not everyone would be able to understand it because it's new?
Singing and praying with/in the Holy Spirit to praise God is not like this film, trance. It's really an anointing holy moment from God. It's really the work of Holy Spirit, it comes from the Spirit who guides us and gives us the breath of Live in our heart. So not from ourself. Not from the flesh, but from the Spirit of God.
I really wish that I could worship the Lord Jesus Christ like this and be free ( because I love Trance) ...but I sense that this might not be what it seems. Anyone who is mature and has discernment please respond...

Jesus is the real ecsacy friend.. Drugs are conterfit. if you want feel the ecstatic love of our lord and king you need to give your life to him.
You need to be born again. this is done by Saying the prayer of salvation. God bless you on your search for the truth..
