  • What more can I say ? LIKE A BOSS !!!

  • Betty loves The man who never get killed with guns?

  • Seriously she's like 20 something n he's an old perverted codger!

  • 0:45 Most redundant wanted ad ever!

  • They're sending out the army, navy, AND police b/c she's being sexual harassed?!?!?

  • What about Bimbo?????

  • 0:56 just as the crowd is starting to rush into the building. Penis.

  • @lego00069 i know!!

  • Her boss is such a perv....he wanted to rape Betty!! I like when she shoots the pencils at him, he had it comin'

  • she flashed him at 2:07

  • old cartoons are fucking weird

  • I want to play kill???!!! Screw Chucky!!! Betty's the serial killer!

  • an erection at 55"

  • A whole lotta fun this was. But the ending's a bit suspect, no?

  • What the heck?

First, it's like " I WANNA PLAY KILL!" and she shoots the fat man in the butt. Then she's all over him. WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKING, BETTY?! Yes, you're still the greatest cartoon character there ever was.

  • Who voices Betty in this one? Her voice is WAAAAAY higher than usual.

  • @UberObsessed

    it could be kate wright,

becuse little ann little voiced betty boop from 1931 - 1933 and then went to play Betty in person. and you can tell this isnt mae questel or bonnie poe or margie hines.

this voice can also be heard in Betty Boops may party & Betty Boops Birthday

  • This certainly gives us a twisted ending that differs from all the other Betty cartoons when the guy is trying to have his way with her..... O.o

  • Lol, she's a tease

  • These old mickey mouse, betty boop and looney tune cartoons are the best by far that have ever been made.

  • That was really uncomfortable to watch...

  • lol i can understand why the police would have guns but where did the fat guy pull the gun from? haha

  • oh wow lol this is scary. it's like he's tryin to rape her. haha. sexual harrassment much. XD

  • WTF! Betty submitted herself to that creep?

  • @KjinAboii Yeah, wierd isn't it?

  • The ending was weird.

  • With all the police, this must be a serious arrest.

  • I like how the military and the navy take a break from fighting the nazis to go and save Betty Boop from a creepy fat man. lol!

  • who was fighting the nazis in 1933?

  • This was six years before WWII.

  • 5:26 XD I love it when they do that

  • 3:19 - 3:48 - wtf? mace him, betty!!! xD

  • "how da ya like that?" A pretty light hearted look at sexual harassment. It wasn't upsetting until the very end.

  • I'm not smart enough to get the reference on the last police car (at 4min, 12sec.) Is it in Hebrew? What's the translation, and what's the joke I'm not getting?

  • Yes it's Hebrew. It reads "kosher". It's something that appears in Betty Boop cartoons. See my comment to Bellalisa a few months ago.

  • I used to watch her as a kid. Looking back now this is really disturbing. Especially the fact that they're...dogmen....? The advancing is very odd

and she's a teen... Quite creepy lol

  • the whole army came to trying to save all for notthing, what a slut this better boop

  • Ok... so she sings about sitting in his lap, and then she calls the police when he comes on to her??

  • Want the honest truth? Betty Boop is a sex symbol, duh. Her creators admitted it, hell, she wasn't even supposed to be for kids all that much anyway and more for adults. Are all cartoons automatically for kids nowadays?

No, and parents still have a hard time figuring it out. Lord, it's like mothers whinning and bitching to animators because their kids are watching Family Guy and Southpark. Are they going to go to the same lengths if one of their kids start watching porn? Nope. That's justice.

  • Kids SHOULD watch Southpark, it's one of the few programs with a meaningful moral philosophy on television.

  • Poor Betty Boop....at least later on in the series she learned to fight back a little.

  • They had what I believe to be a car that said "Police" in Hebrew?

  • The sign on the last police car says "kosher". It comes up in other Betty Boop cartoons sometimes too. Probably a little in-joke by Max Fleischer, (who was a Jew.)

  • Betty started out as a dog girl but by this time she was fully human and every one else was canine.

It was nice to see that the world was willing to die fighting for her to save her honour.

The conclusion was unique to Betty not to womankind. They made that point in the beginning that there was only one like her.

  • Betty boop's little introduction there was a little suggestive... o.O As well as the overall cartoon.. xD;; Animation wasn't used for entertaining small children in Mark Fleischer's day, eh? (Or was it Max? I can't remember.. )

  • Ah, it is Max. I feel stupid, now... (it was right at the beginning... xD;; )

  • Pre-1934 Betty cartoons had mainly adult audiences, declining in popularity after that damn code was imposed.

  • did she get raped by him please tell me someone

  • It's pretty ambiguous. But the more important thing is... IT'S A CARTOON!

  • No. she didn't get raped he had shot all his bullets and was impotent. she took pity on him and he realised what a dog he had been. He was touched and proposed. They married and had a happy life for many years till the lack of children became an issue with them.

At least that's what i thought.

Or they could have just gone back into the inkwell.

  • @Choowbz

lol, love your epilogue there... XD

  • HAHAHAHAHAA.... Betty Boop knows what time it is.

  • When these sorts of cartoons are called "banned cartoons" it doesn't mean that they were universally banned. It just means that some networks or communities would not show them because of questionable content. In this case, it was the sexism. As endlessone07 has noted, the "moral" of this particular Betty Boop episode would seem to be "No means Yes", which is rather unacceptible to modern western sensibilities. So you won't see this cartoon on Saturday morning children's TV these days.

  • So the moral of the story is that "No means Yes" ? lol People had no concept of right and wrong back in the old days.

  • I agree omg! these days that's just a horrible thing to show on tv,,they would never show that on a cartoon

  • Okay to think this cartoon is over 70 years old. Now THAT is scary. LOL

  • its a classic.

  • Why was it banned?

  • for sexism. its basically saying tht sexual harrasment is ok coz in the end the girl will decide she really does want it.

  • old cartoons+creepy walking= :O
